From those of you who are fully melee spec'd and have truely optimized your dps, what kind of numbers are you hitting in T8 raids? Also besides the obvious boost STR and get some haste, what recommendations can you give for getting better dps? I had my str up over 700 self buffed before RoK but got rid of a lot of stuff and switched my build thinking it wasn't going to be what I wanted/needed for raids anymore, but I was wrong so now I have to rebuild my str up and am looking to improve on what I was doing pre-RoK.

I'm not melee spec'd and most the time I'm in the MT group and do 300-500 dps but that is not even trying to dps Infusion FTW!!! imo i would think again about STR spec'd in ROK there is just no leather healer gear with STR .

Nice to hear infusion is working for some raiders , I luv this ability , at first i thought it was no good for solo small groups, but id have to say its a significant boost to dps even solo.

The way the devs set it up is helpful, just move on top of the mob you want it to hit while your targeting a diff one ....bout 5-6 procs equals the dmg to single target from whirl (aoe)

Plus there are so many spells that proc it ... includeing the mana stone

By the way ...last i heard ... 1200-1500 dps is what wardens are capable of being buffed by others.

I myself hit around 600-800 solo , which works just fine by me ... the other factor is mitigation i think.

If you cant survive , then whats the point.

also remember mob lvl and your skill lvl is going to play a big factor ... not landing dmg , will significantly reduce dps.

Which brings up an old question for me ... how exactly does a dps mod work ... I mean you cant stand there , do no dps , and still get your mod can you?

TBH on most of the t8 zones melee is not possible.. there's always a need to constant spam healing and for that i personally need healing gear which don't got STR at all.. but when i do switch to STR gear (and it's taking my power down by around 2k) i do around 1.5k dps.
