Launcher Stuck at 'Uploading'

I just purchased the $20 bundle for EQ2 (everything up to Kunark, I believe) after having the free trial for a good amount of time. The updating process was huge (free trial and game took around 12 hours or so), but it finally finished. I selected the 'download immediately' option for everything I could DL from Preferences, and those finished in an hour.Now, the patcher is stuck on 'Updating,' that is, everything is ready but I can't press play (the red button says updating not play). The option to download still exists, but every time I press it it downloads 'testeq.exe' over and over again without letting me play. I scanned all files and it went through cleanly. Anyone know what I should do?

I should add that I chose the 'reinstall EQ2' option after I bought the game, because nothing happened after I paid money.

Are you running Vista?  There are some known issues with Vista if you're not running the patcher as an administrator.  Check some of the posts here on the forums and you'll find more info about it if this is the case.If you're not on Vista, try doing a full scan of the downloaded files to see if that helps.
