Which Robe to Wear?

<p>I can't decide which robe to wear.</p><p> Last night I did a couple of pickup groups and picked up two new robes.  I'm not entirely sure which robe would be the best to use.  Which would give me the better overall DPS as a wizard?</p><p>The Relevent effects for the robes are:</p><p>Bonecaster Robe:  +50 spell Damage and +2% Critical Hit chance (bringing me to 29%)</p><p>Elegant Praetor's:  +45 spell damage and decreases spell reuse by 2%</p><p>Crimson Robe of Alendine: 10% spell haste.</p><p>My initial reaction is to keep the Crimson Robe, but I'm not entirely sure.  Any suggestions?</p>

it has been said, as a way to see what robe is better for you (but take into account a possible cap) :<b>1% bonus increase = 2% haste = 2.5 crit = 4% recast = 39 damages</b>I don't know if the formula is perfectly exact, but it is enough to give you a good idea.lets give 1 point bonus for each , then :Bonecaster Robe:  +50 spell Damage and +2% Critical Hit chance (bringing me to 29%)Elegant Praetor's:  +45 spell damage and decreases spell reuse by 2%Crimson Robe of Alendine: 10% spell haste. And where ca we see the haste and re-use stats of the toon?I only get the spell crit.  I need to know my total spell damage has well.  Perhaps I missed something when I was looking for.Welcome back Illusive!  I don't know how much time you've been out, but it's nice to see you post on those boards again!Marie-Ange

You can get profit ui it will show +spell dmg in persona window.It also shows cast time totals, but it's bugged atm, Fireflyte has said he's reported it on and they working on it <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />And the Praetor's Robe will be best for 80+ mobs because of resists, otherwise I'd go with Crimson Alendine, too. Ok, my main toon is a lvl 76 Wizard which I've been playing since launch and I've no idea what the phrase "spell haste" actually means nor have I seen an item that uses those words to describe an effect. Is it shorter cast times? shorter refresh times? ect? Can someone please illuminate this for me?
