Upheaval and Cataclysm concerns

<p>  Hey you warlocks just wondering if any of you are experiencing the same issue I am with Upheaval and Cataclysm.  Upon casting these spells about half the time it comes up showing target is immune and the spell graphics g off but the spell does not damage and is available to cast again immediatly.  I have tried these 2 spells in just about every scenario to see if I see why it is happening.  I decided to use rift and chaostorm to see if this was happening with those spells.  It is not happening at all and those spells are working great.</p><p>Is anyone else experiencing this out there?</p>

been seeing the exact same thing, in places like sebilis,coa,vaults,chelsith - have been beginning to think its because of my edict ranged slot item but havent really tested it that much - is most certainly a pain to wind up upheaval only to see that even the mob I am directly targetting doesnt take any damage and the immune msg pops up.

if you have the "edict of the whispered word" equipped, its because of this item. while the proc is running all open aes wont work. asked a coercer with the same item and he had the same problem. but wrote a petition and they told me that they know about it and try to fix.

The Edict makes you immune to hostile spells while the proc is up and the Target of your Blue PBAoE spells is yourself, so naturally they don't work. The question is is this working as intended or just a bug?

well im getting the same problem w/o having the sybol item equiped. i had the 2 hander from the maidens quest and the T8 mastercrafted symbol with the 2% crit on it and i was having the aoe's not work but only on some mobs....i.e. vaults mobs just behind the first locked door i couldnt aoe
