Returning Mystic seeks advice!

So I'm back after a year away. Have a 70 Mystic, was previously clearing DT so not too shabbily equipped, well til I start seeing better treasured stuff in Kunark of course!Have 50aa to spend in the shaman tree and have no clue what changes have happened to make us better than 12 months ago! I've done some trawling around on here but honestly can't find anything really useful for my situation.I tend to duo with my wife (atm on her brigand, trying to persuade her to switch to her monk!), or do group stuff, hopefully dungeons soon in Kunark. Guild I'm in doesnt raid so thats not an issue. Very occaisionally soloing but not too often.Any AA advice? Specific advise too, not *oh put some in str, some in sta* etc if possible!Am happy on the Mystic page, thats gonna be enhancement, its the Shaman one thats got me stumped.

The 100% melee crits help out a great deal. If you do NOT intend on raiding I also suggest to stay away from the STR line with its AE blocker. My advice is to not switch to a Monk. Your better off with a Brigand, Bruiser or Zerker.As for AA's, some have already highlighted going down AGI for the Crit hits.  After that it's your choice on what you want to do with the Shaman tree - me personally it's STR and WIS.  I know you wanted specific's but everyone has their own ideas of what's right and you should probably play around with it to fit your playstyle.The Mystic tree you will most likely want to go down is the buffs and CA branches.  After that it's kind of wasted points because the rest of the tree sucks.

Ok thanks guys thats a huge help! Why not duo with my wife's monk? Surely monks a better tank, and ok dps, compared to say a brigand? The monk has taunt! And group FD! She only has the monk and brig that she plays, mate has a DPS guardian (yes yes I know) who I was with last night, that was ok.
