In case you haven't noticed, on the male sarnaks (not sure on female because I haven't tried one) the camera is set as if they were two feet taller. So, if you zoom in to admire the graphics of the face and helms, you're looking at empty air over its head. Sometimes, during combat, the camera pops down to the proper height, but not for long. I'm surprised SOE didn't have such an obvious glitch fixed before launch. Any plans in the near future to fix this?

I never actually noticed it on my sarnak (was also male). Maybe either not so glaringly obvious, or some setting you have, or....I'm just that blind :p

You should had seen them in beta at first, they stand striaght when they cast and the camera would bob up and down the whole fight. After a few mins it give me a headache

If you can, perhaps this isn't something everyone's experienced. If there IS an "adjust height of camera" option, I'd appreciate if someone walked me through it.

Everquest II and LoN are done by separated teams and if I heard it right, even resides in different states in the US. Thank you for pulling in this complete unrelated and incorrect remark. To the OP: I deleted my Sarnak, but I do remember from the first days of RoK that I had some wierd things going on with zooming in and out... but my Sarnak was female.Femke.

There might well be an extra team working on the card graphics, standalone client and ruleset, but I can hardly imagine that the card-game team is doing the EQ2 implementation (at least I wouldn't let anyone that hasn't worked for years on EQ2 start modding the live code...). So every ingame reward from LON will cost EQ2 developer power. And why has the official EQ2 newsportal eq2players succumbed to an advertising platform for LON?So at least half on topic: I believe that this new "how to get rich in 10-days" approach to SOEs actions (google.ads on enterprise websites??) is not going unnoticed and will not do them any good with the comparativley sophisticated player base we have in the EQ games.

Feel free to start a new thread on what you said, but then again we had already hundreds of them.Femke.

The Sarnak have the wrong POI and allmost all other NPC are underachieving when it comes to animations in combat. I was an EQ2 fan and i know the dev team is capable of great things. But the wardens dogs have an animation bug since the spell was released. The monk boots have a glitch on barbarians since released.Having that in mind some of us have the right to doubt that SOE is a good game company and that most of the bugs are directly linked to management. my 2cents

Hmmm, seems the bug is still there, though I did notice if you make the toon sit, the camera center snaps back down to his head as it should be.Unfortunately, it doesn't stay there once he stands back up, but at least now I can zoom in to admire the helm graphics and such.

it's easy to tell that there is a problem. Try running through a dungeon or a cave with low ceilings..My barbarian, troll and ogre toons have no problems, my sarnak that runs with a stoop and is shorter actually hits the ceiling and gets stuck over and over, even though he is considerably shorter than the top of the cave in question...it's because the camera angle is off by about 2 feet. This needs to be fixed. If I need to flee from an enemy in a dungeon I don't want to be killed because I was stuck due to some bug...

I noticed this same bug and it's a complete deal breaker for me.I can't play my Sarnak Assassin for more than 10 minutes without getting nauseous from the camera bounce.Worries me that such a simple bug can't be addressed after this long..
