which would do more DPS- dual weilding or a buckler with STA spec? because if you dual weild its basically like 100% double atk and you get double proc too. ive kinda been struggling over this so i need help hehe...it would be nice if someone could actually parse it to

Sta line, 44882, period.You can get about the same amount of DPS from DW with a combination of int and str lines, but you lose out on the ability to then tank when you need to do that.  The 8 points in the 4th ability from sta gives 8% riposte.  The end result of that ability is that using your buckler instead of your tower shield results in a paltry loss of 1-5% of overall avoidance (less loss if you're mostly fabled, more loss if you're in treasured/MC gear).Most common build for both warriors isSta 44882Str 448Int 41then either add more to the int line for some extra haste, or pick up agi 41 to add an extra non-encounter aoe to help you grab snap agro when you break out reinforcement.

DW essentially does the same damage as it used to do before the changes aside from the fact that your crits are higher since the weapon max damages are higher.</p><p>On top of that, it can be trickier to time CAs(if you do that) when the weapons have different delays.</p><p>Buckler is still the higher DPS assuming all other things are equal.</p>

DWing, using a 1 hander and shield( no DA) and a two hander are the same rough dmg output pending weapons delays fabled procs ect ect ect overall they are the almost the same. now add 69% dbl atk( guardian tree dbl atk included) and your gonna see a huge jump in DPS over duel wielding

<p>People ask this same question over and over.</p><p>The simple answer is:</p><p>Go parse it yourself with the different combinations of weapons YOU have available.  </p><p>I can tell you what I parse and it will be totally meaningless unless you and I:</p><p>Have exactly the same gear and weapons.</p><p>Have exactly the same AA build.</p><p>Have exactly the same CA upgrades.</p><p>Have exactly the same adornments.</p><p>Have exactly the same player skill. </p><p>There are five reasons right there that should tell anyone asking these questions that you can't find out on the boards what is going to be the best DPS for you.</p><p>Yes, people can say, oh, go buckler for more dps with the STA build, etc. etc.</p><p>But unless you have the right weapon to benefit from the STA line, you may or may not get more DPS from it versus a STR/INT/AGI build.</p><p>Only your parse can tell you what works. </p>
