Returning to Norrath

Hi all,after being away for almost a year I've decided to come back to Norrath yet again (played on and off since release...) and it seems there have been some substantial changes again. My main is a 60 or so Wood Elf Necro with mostly Adept III / Master I spells and somewhat decent gear, about 30 AA's.I've read the update notes, of course, but what's the current state of the game from a necro point of view? Since there are always "undocumented" changes, I'd like to know where the class stands at the moment and how we are solo/groupwise.It's always so confusing to come back after a long while with all changed skills and whatnot, so thanks for any advice! :)

<p>Uhmmm.. well, we are not nerfed... yet... </p><p>Besides that - I have returned after more than a year break as well - and didn't have any problems, several fights and you get used to all that have been changed. Just remember not trying heroics right away <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

I've just returned after a year as well and IMO, the class is much better. Between the AAs and solo-friendly areas, we pretty much kill what we want. Grouping is much the same with a few new spells thrown in the mix. It's a great time to be a Necro.
