<p>My apologies if this has been suggested before, but my Journal gets so clogged with quests that sometimes I wander by mobs I need for a quest by accident because I've forgotten about it. Later I will inevitably chastise myself for having wasted time... "I saw those earlier, now I have to backtrack! Grrrr..." Maybe I just have a bad memory or something, but 75 quests are hard to keep track of, sometimes.</p><p>Quest NPCs have flags, after all. If I need to kill Stonechest Gorillas, it would be great to see a tiny icon before the mob's name that looks like the quill icon used for NPCs. If you need to kill undead, or sentients, or orcs or something, it would show for every mob in that category, thus clearing up confusion on some of the more obscure tasks: "Is this what I need to kill? *smack smack, no update* "Ok, I guess not, how about this..."</p><p>Anyone else like this idea?</p>

<p>When I hit a new zone with a load of quests, I tend to whack a mob to find out if I need it or not. </p><p>But the idea has merit. Adding a tiny feather to the mobs consider window, or alongside the descriptive name that hovers over it, that would be elegant and simple. </p><p>Though I'm sure some halfwit will be along shortly to suggest this would be holding your hand through the game and make a wippy quip about such people asking for instant level 80, or something. </p>

Actually I think this is a good idea. While some quests are very specific about what you have to kill, using the exact name of the mob, others can be very vague, and there are times when there isnt a clear relationship between which mobs the quest asks for and which ones you need to kill - an example might be the Cockatrice introduced with RoK: the mobs aren't actually referred to as Cockatrice anywhere, so you're relying on the art alone to inform the player, which might not always suffice.

I like it as well. Waiting for the usual trolls to come around and post something like ... "stupid idea. no thanx".

Well, here ya go! I'm sort of yes and no on this one. Although I would love to run past a mob and say to myself "HEY! I NEED THAT!", don't you guys think this game is already too darn easy now? Why don't we just cut and paste everything from WoW and VG, and change the name of the game to EVERCOPY?
