Hi, just wondering if I can change the name of my char after creation? Oh wait, another question. Is it possible to extract/save appearance info from an existing char? Thanks in advance!

I don't believe you can change the character name.

I had an EQ 1 froglok warrior named Froggymcluvin luvsdaladies. I made him as a twink to play with my friends who just started in the game. Well I started liking him after awhile and I played him to 70. I wish I could of given him a serious name because everyone knew the name after awhile and made fun of it. IT was always the topic of group and raid chat. Got to be pretty annoying.

You can try to /petition for a name change, you may or may not be able to have it done. There isn't character name change service, afaik.

You can only save the appearence during the character creation; on the customize screen at the bottom there should be an option to save. However, sometimes you can cause the default appearence of the chosen race/sex to be changed by having your original character, of the same race/sex do a makeover. You don't have to complete the makeover, just start it and cancel it out to cause the default model to load with your original characters visual style. hope that made sense

The easy way to change your name at a low lvl is to re-roll. Its really not that hard to do if you are below 20J.C.
