That's BS. The Reinforced Slippers of Balance were common loot from avatars and there never has been a contested epic*4 Grandmaster Wu.

Common?   Can't be too common because they never dropped on my server.  Now they'll never drop again due to loot table changes.  That sucks too, because those were the best item ever, ever, zomg best uber best ever.
