Coming back after a few years.

Ok - since I have been reading nothing but great things about RoK, I have decided to come back to EQ2.  I have a level 41 Defiler and no idea how to play him at this point.  It looks like a lot of the skills have changed and there are now AA points(??).Can anyone give me some advice on where I should start?  I played around a bit last night, but was totally overwhelmed.  How do I go about getting AA points and where is a good place I can go read on spell/skill changes?

<p>The AA points come with the expansions, so if you bought them when you came back you should be able to get AA points. You receive AA for completing quests that con green or higher (blue or higher gives you more), killing named creatures the first time,and discovery of new areas. You access them by pressing L and then selecting the tab for your skills.</p><p>As far as spell and skill changes, you can get the lists on allakhazam or eq2wiki. There is also a lot of useful information on this forum. If you are not easily offended, eq2flames defiler forum also has a lot of information although it is mostly oriented to min/max type issues.</p>
