Not sure what forum to put this in, so hope this is ok. I have a map add on that is creating problems with my gameplay. It's this one. <a href="http://maps.eq2interface.com/index.php?action=download" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://maps.eq2interface.com/index....action=download</a> Anyone know how to remove this? No help at their site<img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Or do I have to uninstall EQ2?

<p>EQ2 map is not a SOE product so finding support here will be hit-or-miss.</p><p>Try the eq2 map website.</p><p><a href="http://maps.eq2interface.com/index.php?action=faq" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://maps.eq2interface.com/index.php?action=faq</a></p><p><a href="http://www.eq2interface.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=34" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://www.eq2interface.com/forums/...isplay.php?f=34</a></p>

A few things you can do:The EQ2Map Updater is an installed program, and should be on your uninstall list in Windows (Start button -> Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs). If the map add-on is your only custom UI, delete the file eq2.ini from your EQ2 directory. In your EQ2/UI directory, there will be 3 folders: Default, Fonts, and EQ2Map. Delete the third one. Removing the eq2.ini file alone will stop any custom UI info from working, but no reason to have the files on your hard drive if you're not going to use them.If the map add-on is not your only custom UI, then look in your custom UI folder. Remove the eq2map folder and the eq2ui_mainhud_map.xml file from the custom UI folder. That will remove the add-on without changing anything else about your custom UI.If you'd like help in figuring out why it's not working, and possibly getting it fixed, check the links Effie gave. They've also got a lot of other UI mods you might find interesting. Since, as Effie said, EQ2Map and other UI mods are not SOE products, going there is the best way to get help with custom UIs.
