I have Extremely choppy graphics evenat the character select screen I belive firmly belive my system should eat this game to hell ... I really want to play this game with out having to deal with this BS its vey depressing. I have the new driver and every thing so could you guys please help

<p>I looked up the model # for that Toshiba computer.</p><p>It has an integrated graphics card - Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950</p><p>You can't expect to play EQ2 with integrated video, you need a standalone card, and a good one at that, to run it smoothly probably a Geforce 7 or 8 mid range card, you will never get good performance with a generic videocard like what you have.</p><p> The rest of the computer is ok, 2GB Ram is fine, T2350 processor is decent. See if toshiba offers GPU upgrades, thats a waste of money to get a computer like that with such a poor videocard.</p>

This pisses me off so much. never trusting sells men again I spent a grip of money on this and they promissed it can play EQ II without problems and of course I cant upgrade my video card I dont want to play WoW and I'm stuck with a computer that can not run well.

The problem with the ready-built systems always seems to be that to get a decent video card you need to buy a system with so many unnecessary bells and whistles that they want your lifetime's earnings or at least your first-born. Perhaps you should try one of those places where you choose your components and they put it together for you, so you can spend your money where it matters, like on a decent video card.

Not only that but "gaming" laptops are typically very large, heavy, and consume alot of power, so I would never use a laptop for gaming anyway.  Laptops are supposed to be light and to use on the go with a long battery lifeSo even if I could afford a gaming laptop, its just not worth it, if you're going to carry a huge monster around you might as well spend the money on a desktop and get more for your money.

His brand new laptop would not even play the game. Not even poorly.</p><p>If the retailer still allows returns on the laptop, you might consider returning it for something better even if it costs a bit for "restocking" (or whatever else they want to call that random fee for hardware return)</p>
