Anyone else see a problem here? I took verdant bliss as my M2 choice - lvl 73 grand floresence adept 3 is significantly weaker.

What are the stats for each? .... I saw it posted that Ad3 was 5 pts above M2

But looking at the adept3's T8 compared to Master T7's , I noticed that a few plat didnt seem worth a few points on stats ..... Only a few (The T6 I guess) seemed like a worth while up grade , except .....

Sandstorm (lvl59) vs Gale ..... 4 pts of defense was definately not worth it.

IMO The sages wont get my money for adept3's unless i get into Raiding with an uber guild (but wardens arent needed there anyway so ....)

My master T7's are just fine and dandy , especially the roots , Bracken is good up to lvl 81 till it decreases in effectiveness (If you had master 1,2 it is actually better except than the duration )

The direct heal portions are similar, with my M2 verdant bliss healing 894-1065 vs 885-1071 for grand florescence adept 3. The HoT protion though is where grand florescence is really lacking with 107-131 persecond vs 174-196 per second for verdant bliss. NTM that grand florescence cost 302 power to cast vs 251 for verdant. Edit - OK I just realized that I was comparing these while wearing the relic leather leggings that give +75 to verdant bliss, so the disparity is not really as bad as I thought. Just be aware that if you are wearing these leggings you are better off with verdant bliss.

I am scribing Adept 3's of my T8 spells as I get them, particularly those that are an extremely lackluster upgrade, but have a level limit on them (ie: won't affect targets higher than level...x). I'm doing this in hopes that the devs will recognize how much T8 is lacking - but I'm using mostly T7.

It's pretty amazing the disparity between these things: Ajunk mob will drop some trashy thing with better stats than T7 Fabled, yet the T8 spell quality at Adept 3 is like 5 points higher than T7 and not worth it.

I honestly don't think the different development departments talk to each other. I really don't.

I was mentoring low teens and noticed Verdant bliss was doing a huge amount on the burst while wearing my leggings

Even still the difference there doesnt add up , your showing about a 60 tic difference, that over 10 sec is 600 more for Verdant bliss.

Im not at my Eq playing comp so i cant log to even check, will check later tonight though.

I didnt think any + to heals would even show up on spell examine anyway , Dont they just add 1/2 to the burst and then 1/2 to the hot portion.

In other words, the primary tick will increase, but the HoT portion will remain the same.

As far as spell upgrades go, I have to agree that they are extremely lackluster. It seems to be that way across the board though as my Paladin's spells are hardly worth upgrading either. So, I have only been upgrading them as I am able to harvest the rares to do so. Otherwise, I am just using app4 versions as placeholders in a seperate hotbar so I remember what I need to upgrade and bring into the rotation.

All spells for every class have a problem like this. If you have adept 3's or higher for t7 t8 adept3's are extremely small upgrades. 1-3%, while master 1 are 10-12%. Thats actually a huge difference in my opinion. and it SUCKS.

My guess is they will either fix that problem or it was intential b/c when they finally get around to making spell upgrades for the rest of the tiers every 10 lvls instead of 14 t7 will be lowered to where the t8 adept 3's are a useful upgrade. Honestly hoping for a fix soon though.
