Good question...I see lots of treasured crap and a few nice fabled shields.  We need something like a Legendary 750 protection buckler with fighter stats that drops in Maidens or something.  As it stands now I will go from Buckler of the Howler with its 400 something protection to Virtues Guard with 900+.  Where is the progression, LOL.  Same with Tower shields....we need some in the 1450- 1500 range that are legendary instance drops or something.  I do not want to fight for a X2 contested to get the one good shield RoK has to offer outside of full blown raiding.  I do not have the Qeynos guard and have not been fortunate enough to pick up a real nice shield in T7 so I am stuck using basically Grizzlefazzle quality right now as far as Towers are concerned..

<p>You are correct in that there are not a lot of progression shields in T8. However the 400 protection from a T7 buckler to the 1000 protection of the T8 Virtues Guard is just stupid. It is much too large of a jump and should be lowered. Another thing is the best shield for tanking in my honest opinion is the kite shield off the x2 dragon. Having 1700+ protection and 3% block rate while fabled shields from Veeshan's Peak has 1500ish protection and 0 increased block.</p><p>As for progression there really is 0 gear progression in RoK other than get some legendary or master crafted for raiding. Once you have full RoK legendary or MC gear you are pretty much set through veeshan's peak picking up random fabled on the way. It really irritates me of the promise of progression and then getting a kick in the sack.</p>
