Hey all! Just got the game today and have been toying around with a few classes and such. I want to find a main Class so I can start to get into the game. I do have a few questions though.

1. Is this class challenging? As in more then just button mashing.

2. For someone who is completely new to the game is this the right class to play? Is it fun basically.

3. Later in progression is the necro class needed/wanted for raiding and what is our primary role?

Thats basically it for now , hehe and I stress now. Most of my other questions were answered through a search but some info is outdated or Pre-Rok so if you have anything you can think too add please do , tips/advice ect..

Thanks!

1. It can be verey challenging and it can be a cake walk depending on what type of content you are after. Necros are pretty much the soloist holy grail for dungen crawling. Verey well balanced. With your pets , caster, tank, scout, you have your instant pickup group were you play the healer and dps for your pet. Bottom line is you get your life from cousing pain to your enemies.

2. It is a Hands down fun class to play. In general like most classes , in the verey beginning you will not start to shine till around lvl 20. I belive you get your first life tap is in your high teens, wich is the necros defining ability beond the pet.

3. There are alot of different opinions on that aspect. Necros have alot of damage output wich is always welcome. Beond that necros can resurect in raids and its commanly there job to resurect the fallen so the healers can stay on track with the meat wall getten beat by the epic mob. Necros also can summon an item on groupmembers that allows them to get a mana boost while in combat. We finally got a spell that summons a heart for the whole raid wich before it was a one target spell. Get used to the wizards and healers humpen your leg for hearts =p We dispell magic , "single target". Are debuffs are fair but not even close to par with the bards and other class's debuffs. <---- same applys to are buffs. Pretty much its DPS / Hearts / and resurection wich most recognize. Oh yes and Lifeburn is another handy ability but that spell depends on how or where you spend achivement points.

All in all you can set your necro up to your prefeared playing style when you get anough achievment points. The main thing to remember is that the only thing between your death, is your pet, life taps and feign death "playen dead".
