cloak not showing

<p>Ok, not that it's a huge deal since I don't like how the cloaks look, but I just did the quest for the frostfell cloak but no matter what setting I set in my persona window the cloak won't show, anyone know why?</p>

I'm guessing you already tried /showcloak?

<p>Likewise, I'm guessing you've already flicked the "details" tab of the persona window to tick/untick the hide cloak option. </p><p>And no existing cloak in the appearance slot overwriting it at all?</p>

Did you put it on? Yes, I realize it's a likely insulting question, but we all make mistakes and often overlook the most obvious solution when trying to figure out problems.

<p>Yes, I did play with the settings in the persona window and equiped the cloak, though I didn't know of the /showcloak command, expected cloaks to work the same as the helm/illusion one, once you select the option in the persona window it would change, will try that tonight.</p>

There is also a setting in the options screen (sorry, don't remember the exact tab), that allows you disable ALL cloaks, so the question I have is, do you see cloaks on other people? if not, you might dig through the options and check if this is turned on.

<p>Hmm, you know what, now that you mention it I don't think i've ever seen anyone elses cloak before, will have to see if I can find that setting.</p>

<p>Well it was the display option, took a while to find it since it makes no sence where it currently is under animation, so I go to have my quick 10 second look before turning them back off as they truely were the overstarched beach towels on your back I expected from pics i've seen.</p>
