Accelleration strike, bugged?

I finally got this ability over the weekend on my zerker.  When playing alone with my fury 2 box it seems to work just fine.  I use the CA, get the blue buff in my buff box, use 3 ca's and get the blue buff in my maintained, then show the accellerated buff on my buff window when it terminates.  This seems normal.  But I noticed when grouping with a few friends, the buffs never showed up in over 3 hours of grouping on heroic content.  The only indication I got was the blue buff under maintained.  Is this normal?  Am I still getting the effect or is it just not going off?  Is there any way to check this?

<p>I have been watching my buffs too. Whilst soloing, can get Acceleration Strike to "activate" every time. I.e. turn from blue to yellow.</p><p>However whilst in groups, it NEVER happens. I think it is bugged, yes. In fact, I may well go in game right now (well, when the servers are back up) and /bug it.</p>

Don't be surprised when buffs don't show up in your spell effects window while grouping.  The window is capped at 30 icons and if there's more then that (which there usually is in a group) not all of them will be shown.  As far as I know Accel strike is working just fine.

There is the viewable buff cap to consider, but also don't forget that if your doing heroic content, and in defensive stance, then your accuracy is crap and the attack CAN miss and you won't get the buff. However, you can tell if its working or not by watching your displayed haste. If it goes up, its working. And as an active raider, and a parse monkey, I can tell you that in grps AND raids its working just fine.

I use Profit Ui and I can actively watch my DPS and Haste modifers. Accel strike is working.

Just watch your maintained spell window (not your buff window), it'll show you if it's triggering or not.

I notice it to not show up in my maintained box nor in the active buff box. I was worried it was bugged as well but if you check your options tab where it shows your haste modifier you can see that you are gaining the correct % haste from the ability.

<p>That's right. When grouping it does not show in either the maintained effect window or the buff window. However my haste value does go up accordingly. ProfitUI shows haste in the bottom right corner of the screen permanently.</p>
