Devs said pretty much a city on the water was not realy likely to survive the events ... So its under the seas somewhere... Would like to see the ruins though ;P

PSHHHHThe devs have their Not So ancient Elvish Architectural-"ology" all messed up >.> That statue was made out of the most pure substance known to elves.... and our architecture is so great that if a meteor hit it, there would still be big chunks of it left. A little sea incident shouldn't of washed it completely away. >.>

Goto the Kylong Planes Docks, stand at the end of the Docks, Look out at the water, somewhere under all that water is Faronia Vie.

I would have thought that Firiona Vie would have been in Fens

Kaleyen wrote:
I would have thought that Firiona Vie would have been in Fens
Why? The Swamp of No Hope was on FV's northern side, and it's the very southern part of Fens now.

Never explored FV (the outpost ) but from the pictures ah've seen it looked like a colosieum with a giant freaking dragon statue on one side about 100 yards/metres from the edge of a cliff

It was more of a man-made island (with a big, homely, poorly built, statue of a dim-witted pale elf) <---- my dark elf opinion but the statue was pretty big

It's most prominant feature was the 100 foot statue of Firiona Vie. No dragons, no cliffs.

IIRC, in EQ1 the mobs near Firiona Vie were Drolvargs, Iksar Skeletons and Drachnids (and, not sure but, sea goblins?) which happen to be the same mobs that are near Dreg's Landing (Kylong Plains) in EQ2. So, as an above poster pointed out, perhaps there are ruins somewhere closeby but underwater? (like Halas in Everfrost)

There is actually a location (discovery XP) along the cliffs near the Wyverns in Kylong named Firiona's Vista.

I spent a couple hours or so (bored one day) swimming all around the waters of Kylong Plains. Ive never seen anyplace look so barren. If the old outpost was swallowed by the sea, you would think that there would be ruins of it or something under the water. Not to mention the 300 foot statue lol, but there is nothing. Not one stone or foundation, at least that I saw. I may not have looked in all the right places though

I doubt this was intentional but off the cliffs near the Dyzok in the water there are 2 rocks that if you look at them the right way COULD be the top half of her head and that knatty ponytail of hers.

But once you get up close its just two rocks close together.

Probley the old outpost was made mostly of wood so fire or flood would have long washed out the remains. Statue and Tower could be buried under dirt.

Trying to visualize Old EQ geography...it would Seem that its in the water, using Karnors as a Landmark, or taken over by fish people, I havent scouted around the eastern half of the zone for anything related to this.
