DPS help needed

<p>Came back to game after a long hiatus recently and am trying to get my DPS up to par. Just hit 80 and wanted suggestions on what I should do to improve DPS (parsing around 1500 currently):</p><p>Self buffed stats with gear(quest gear from JW, KJ, etc) and Mith Marr pet:</p><p>Str 752, Agi 656, Sta 325, Int 149, Wis 45</p><p>DPS Mod 5, Melee Crit 25%, Melee DA 2%, Haste Mod 3, Ranged Crit 7%</p><p>Rogue AA's: (62/70)</p><p>Str 8-4-6-8-1</p><p>Agi 4-7-5-8-1</p><p>Int 6-1</p><p>Swash AA's: (64/70)</p><p>Disheartening Guile 5</p><p>Offensive Poisons 5</p><p>Turgur Poisons 5</p><p>Mental Poisons 5</p><p>Lucky Ploy 5</p><p>Velium Throw 5</p><p>Whirl of Blades 4</p><p>Sneak 5</p><p>Rakish Swathe 5</p><p>Hurricane 5</p><p>Perfect Finesse 5</p><p>Inspiration 5</p><p>En Garde 5</p><p>Reach</p><p>Potency</p><p>Poisons used: Dedicated Turgur, Vitality Breach and Enfeebling</p><p>Weapons: Dual wielding  Soulfire Sabre(primary) , Pristine Imbued Incarnadine Falchion (secondary), both 4.0 delay</p><p>CA levels: Adept 3's: All 70-72, Kidney Stab (74), Lung Bleed (76). Master: Uncanny Thrust. Still using prior level Adept 3/Master skills for others as Adept 1 aren't an upgrade and loams for A3 or Masters are difficult to come by.</p><p>Typical attack pattern solo : Sneak (for posterior attack)>Brazening>Lung Bleed>Kidney Stab>Walk the Plank>Plunder>Whirl of Blades>Uncanny Thrusts>Eye Point>Macro of Lucky Break, Double Cross and Bedazzling Steel to attempt to bring up Swindelers Luck or Bravado and then recycle CA's as the pop.</p><p>Should I respec Rogue line and take Wis? What spec would you use at 80? Any advice would be appreciated. I would like to get up to the 3-3.5k level that others are seeing.</p>

my first thought has to be that you should reach for ALOT more than 25% melee crit. There is so much crit on items out there now that anything less than 30% at 80 is kind of just bad, unless you are hitting almost 500 extra CA damage from your items.Then there's that whole timing your CAs and auto attacks issue. OH definitely get your hands on one of the many items in the game that gives you 25% haste. There is a MC cloak now that does it or those gloves from CMM aren't really hard to come by.as far as AAs... DW isn't nearly as bad as it used to be. Crank up your DA% a bit in the future and it will be even better. Personally I took Sta though instead of swipe and boot dagger because I wanted the extra 1k hp and 7% avoidance.

DPS adornments would also help alot.  They come in neck and ranged varieties.

Also you might want to look into agi-strng-wis with sailwind and coule or swipe in either variety. Also, you definitely need to get your crit up. Just look at your gear in general, because I have slightly more strength at level 73 than you do at 80, with just about 4 mc pieces and 3 t7 token pvp pieces.

I too was out of the game due to a buttload of work that got piled onto me. <sigh> Sadly I still am 1 handing since my dice suck so badly I have yet to win any nice 4.0 delay weapons. However, I'm prepping to get something asap so I can do really well.Let's just put it this way. The only person whose DPS I envy in my guild is our Assassin. He of course always get put in the group with the Dirge and Coercer. Can't tell ya how many times I've begged to be put there so I can show my DPS....Anyways, I need some way to reach nice numbers so that maybe they'll take notice and give me someone with a dps buff in my group. Are there any AA lines that people recommend for major booty-kicking? I don't need to be Teh Uber....just enough to get their attention and show them that I'm really a good swashy...not meant to be stuck with the healers and wizards. <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
