Well, I would love to have a one thread showing all the CAP that affect wizards. And that list should be sticky over there, if we can manage to complete it.So, I tried to search the forum to list all I can put on it. But I ask all of you to complete the list. In that regard, we could have better knowledge on optimizing our items and AA altogether depending on the buff we get from out raiding group.Magic Skill cap: 130% of the skill (disruption, subjugation, focus, ministration)http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=163530As a note here, casting techniques/skills are based on the diminishing returns curve. Raising your disruption skill from 350 (at level 70) to the hard cap of 455 will make your disruption-based spells an additional 20% harder to resist.Spell Damage cap: 50% of the spells base total damage (ie you have to sum up the DoTs for example - will only affect first tick of a dot).http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=394792Spell Crits cap: Spell crits are linear. This means that you will gain exactly the same raw damage by increasing your damage spell crit % from 55 to 56% as you would by increasing it from 5 to 6%. Spell crits cap at 100%. Power Regen cap from items : Level * 0.75 = 60 at level 80Gear with straight power procs do not count towards the in-combat power regen cap (which will be almost capped with just a troubador and illusionist in your group). The formula for the in-combat power regeneration cap is Level * 1.5 , which is 105 at Level 70. Up to half of this amount can be made up by Flowing Thought items.+Spell Haste : Is there an hard cap ? I think yes, but I can't remember it.*spell haste capped you will see double the stated proc rate.+Spell Recovery : The recast on spells caps at half the base recast value Hate Gain caps at 50% Hate Transfer caps at 50% Hate Reduction caps at 50%http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=382836 INT and all other primary stats have a hard cap. The actual stats cap at Level 80 is 1220. Formula is (Level * 15) +20. Diminishing returns after 40%: (where it is applied, on which kind of item effect or AA?)Characters that have mitigation, stat, or skill values that are around 40% of the new cap will not experience much change for that particular system. That is the typical break-even point where the old linear line and the new diminishing returns curve intersect. Players above the break-even point are often raid equipped and will see less benefit initially, but the new maximum caps yield the potential for achieving even greater benefit than before.http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=267128Debuffing magical mitigation cap? Does any kind of cap is used on proc items?
