What is your priority for upgrading spells?

<p>Just curious, in a given tier - how do you tend to rank the order of your spell upgrades to Adept 3?  Granted this is as I'm levelling up, primarily solo, however recently getting back into playing with small groups.</p><p>I'm leaning towards: FD, Offensive Stance, Blessing, any taunts that I don't have selected as Master 2,  lifetap attacks, AE attacks.</p><p>The other attacks I seem to be happy with keeping as App4.</p><p> Just curious as to what others place their focus on?</p>

My first is definitely Blessing, then lifetap attacks. I don't have a lot of plat to twink my SK out, so I greatly need healing. I'm an alchemist/harvester too though, so it's not like I can't make my own adept3s... but if the rares aren't coming when I harvest it's definitely the Blessings first.

<p>My first priority upgrade was offensive stance cuz of nice INT boost it gives plus more atk power too. </p><p>My second upgrade would be lifetap AE that I love to use all the time but it got nice M2 so got M2 instead of adept 3.  Lifetap AE master 1 currently worth 200-250 pp on my server which is dumb considering that it is easily available for FREE by just dinging into lvl 75, lol.  I love M2 lifetap which is MASSIVE upgrade from lvl 55 M1 version at factor of 1.7x on dd and heal!!! I felt like a demi-god once again in AE encounters along with my trample 40%..</p>

The answer for this question is going to be different for everyone, so let me help you answer the question for yourself.For the most part you want to upgrade your spells that you use the most and have the greatest benefit from an upgrade. First thing you do is look at your buffs, since you use them all the time. I'm going to guess that things like your stances and lifetap proc (self) benefit highly from upgrades while our group buffs (and caress line) are very minor upgrades. Jot those down.Then, go through a few fights. Pay close attention to what skills you use. Do you cast coil whenever it's up? Jot that down. Do you cast blessing whenever it's up? Jot it down. Do you use your pet a lot? Do you use the wisdom debuff? Do you use some aoes even when you are only fighting solo mobs? Jot those down.For myself, I saw this as my first upgrade priority for T8Off stanceStrike lifetap CACoil DoTAura AoEAoE tauntfast tauntDef stanceshield tauntDoom AoE dispellTap AoE lifetapThen again, I almost never use my pet and I actually don't use my blessing line as much as I used to (only when I get into trouble) ... I stick to fast cast spells to help with reaver. Also, I would have had my lifetap proc and the lifetap nuke spell on this list but since I had fabled class armor with focuses to these from EoF, they really weren't upgrades.

<p>I do..</p><p>- All direct hate related abilities (Taunts, Bash, Caress...) + Stances (I get Defensive first if I can't get both at the same time)</p><p>- All fast casting dammage spells/CAs (Agony, Pariahs, Misery, Kick etc..)</p><p>- All passive buffs (group and single)</p><p>- Larger/Slower casting CAs/Spells</p><p>- Remaining Debuffs</p>
