Combat skill question

Ok im new to the game and rolled a swashy.  Currently lvl 10, now i was browsing around town and noticed a combat skills trainer.  And he had for sale the same skills/spells except II instead of I.  Now after browsing them i noticed there is like little or no difference in effects and damage of these skills that cost money and are the same level requirement as when i got the originals.  Now my question is what is the point of these?  Do you buy them anyways even if there is like no difference?

<p>App II are not worth the money. There is a skill level system that goes Apprentice --> Adept --> Master and there are levels in between. App I believe goes up to IV then the next updrade is Adept which goes up to III and then Master. Master I are usually more expensive to buy and rarer to get than the others. Master II is available in special training, abilities that you can upgrade to Master II (only one though so choose carefully!) every 14 levels. You get to choose your first Master II in four more levels...generally I wouldn't bother upgrading past App IV (unless you level lock) until about 25-30ish. Then you should start looking into Adept III's and Masters to make your toon more effective.</p><p>**edited to make a certain critical word negative before the OP wastes money!**</p>
