Can you change the UI at all? I found the handy map download, still a little sketchy on UI resources, or well any resources for that matter. Someone point this newb in the right direction, It'd be much appreciated

Same general site you downloaded the map mod from.....www.eq2interface.com

It can be a bit arcane to get some of the mods loaded and usable, but a lot of the UI modders are starting to come up with easy ways to get them installed. The one I use, ProfitUI Reborn, has a small program that will install itself, and when run, it will download the UI into the proper folder, make the changes that are needed to the files, and will update files later down the road. Not to mention, it a pretty handy UI mod as well. But, there's a number of them out there, and you can check them out at the above site.

In my opinion eq2map is the only UI mod you definitely need. The original UI is highly customisable in-game (right-click windows and see the UI section of the options) and leaves little to be desired . Plus you'll never have to worry about 3rd party UIs that stop working due to game updates .

Also, with some of the recent changes to the UI structure, 3rd party UI mods failing because of an incompatibility with a game update are becoming a thing of the past.

decided to toy around with the UI myself...I have my standard bar 1-10 (unchanged)the alt bar I have added hot keys (w,s,c,v,g,h,t,y,q)and the shift bar also added keys shift and most of the ones listed above.I've added 2 new bars at the top for my auras (clickable so no hot keys needed) and 2 side bars for quest items/potions or the like. (number 6 and 7)is there no way to add hot keys to that?
