Reflect seemed an obviously powerful choice for pvp, so I rolled a shadowknight on Venekor and tried it out from 19-25.

It didn't work the same way it had on my pve shadowknight at all. When I had cast it before, it would have 1 charge of "Reflect" popping up over my head from the next incoming spell or racial. On pvp, however, I was getting no "reflect" message, at all. Not only that, it seemed to do nothing, in any way, shape, or form. I tried casting it right before a fight, or leaving it up, but it never did anything. I eventually gave up and came here.

So, what am I doing wrong that reflect seems completely broken?

P.S. Shadowknights are for teh win.

get divine aura instead. 10 seconds is a long time in pvp.

I may be wrong, but doesnt it say in the description that it is NPC only?

It worked in PVP as of like a month or two ago before I spec'd away from it. If I remember correctly, It doesnt say "You reflect", or "You hit" or anything like that, it shows up as "XXXXX was hit by", which at least in my case had a tendency to get lost. The problem is it a good caster will know what it is just by targeting you and know to drop a lesser nuke or something along those lines on you that wont be as big a skullcracker. When I used it in PVP I had it reflect some nice spells from time to time, but more often than not someone outplayed it. Like was said earlier, I'd go for Divine Aura instead. That can really be huge, especially vs. like a swashbuckler if you pop it after they hit inspiration.

I recomend full str line (10% faster casts and recharge is huge along with other melee speed boosts and crit boosts) and full stam line (devine aura and an aoe knockback for 3 sec is sick) and then go down int til you have max spell crits (heal crits are 0% effective, we dont heal, we lifetap)
