Soloing Defiler: Possible without dying of boredom?

<p>I'm about to respec my group-dependent Defiler to increase his soloability since he is seriously behind on AP's (only 30 @ level 55) and needs to complete quests, preferably solo, to catch-up. Any suggestions as to the AA's I should pick and strive for to be a better (=faster) soloer?</p>

The extra DoT (Rabies) and spell damage you get with the INT line is nice... though scourge will probably be worthless to you if you aren't on a PvP server. I haven't found a real use for it against NPCs yet (they don't really come with a lot of buffs to remove), but it's a fun tool against players.Other than that I would say STR or STA would be cool for soloing, dependent on if you like your doggy or not.
