I'm not sure what part of the forums to put this on, so I figured this was a safe bet. I've seen a lot of postings with replies referring to station.com's lack of consistent updating of the game information. Like what levels our toons are at, guilds are at, etc. Does anyone know why that is? I heard that they used to update like once a day, but it's been over a week at least since they updated anything and I was just curious why that was. Any thoughts? or has anyone heard anything "official" about it?

You are lucky if its only been a week since your character updated.Mine haven't updated in 16 days now. This is bordering on unacceptable.

11 days now since last update... And I put in a ticket on the official SOE Knowlegde Base and I'm crying (not laughing) my pants off. I'll post the abhorration as soon as I become too sarcastic at the "GM's" that are working on the issue Heck, it takes them days now to understand my problem

Ha I was to ask tech support this morning about this and a refund before I found this forum and guess what? The reporting system crashed upon pressing the submit button with an ""internal processing error"" ha ha ha . So much for that. But I also heard that other people got the fee for last month partial reimbursed from SOE so my guess is that the petitions for refund where costing them too much $$ so someone set the internal processing error flag to keep more people from complaining. Its the oldest trick in the world and I am ashamed for SOE for sinking so low and pulling this one.J.C.

I am paying for the Guild and Player services. This hasn't worked correctly since RoK went live and that is totally unacceptable. I have seen this happen with the StationPlayers site about every 3-4 months and it's really getting old. Get a database that works or stop charging us money for a service you can't deliver, Sony.

Same problem on Kithicor. Some of my characters havent updated in 2 weeks. I have friends who have characters that havent updated in since sometime in November. Its a serious problem.

Has this even been addressed as a problem by SOE? If it was, I must have missed it.

I have yet to see a Dev of Moderator comment on the problem yet, so I don't even know if they're aware of it or when (if at all) it may be fixed.

The "roster" on EQ2 Players has been messed up since before ROK, so this is not a ROK issue. We have a "leader" on roster who hasn't played the game since May, she has been demoted three times but still shows as a leader. Many of the people in our guild don't even know who she is. That's just one example of the long-term "wrongness" of one guild roster. There are numerous other issues that are long-term.Last week, we rearranged guild rankings and the roster is now a real mess. I sent in a ticket and no reply. I don't understand why the roster is not tied to the live game database and updated in real time as changes are made. It's understandable that player information - status earned, leveling, gear, etc. might not get updated in real time - a set time each night or early morning seems ideal for this update. Guild and player info should all be something that is automated by ties to the appropriate database.Forums are another issue. It's been a long time (also pre-ROK) since you could go to the guild's Web site provided as part of the package we pay for and log in and get into the forums. Instead you get a message that you're not allowed in the forum. You have to go to the site-wide sign in / change user at the top of the page to log into guild forums. There is a $redirect on the left top of the guild home page that displays all the time now. The error is in the redirect, which also should be a simple fix.Is the problem manpower? Has too much priority gone to LON? So many companies push out new products without fixing existing problems in "old" products and think that's ok, but it's not. Most disturbing is the lack of communication. For a brief while, SOE made some improvements in its communications to its paying customers, but lately that has not been the case. It's frustrating and compounds the problems.

Well, there's certainly enough threads in regards to this problem. For me, on Oasis (haven't played on Nagefen in awhile now), My equipment updates on EQ2players on a daily basis while level and stats haven't updated on some since the 6th (longest wait since an update was on the 3rd).

Dinged level 77 on Dec 2nd ( even shows as such under rankings tab ), yet as you can see from my forum sig, still shows as 76.

And my equipment also updates daily, but apparently only equipment.

While the paper doll updates within seconds of me changing it, the rest of the information hasn't changed in a week. When does it get updated?

Resurrecting an old thread here and going a little off topic...I tried the trial of EQ2 around Thanksgiving. My wife and I had a blast and bought two RoK boxes and took the plunge on Dec 1. My EQ2Players profile still has me listed as a 9 Dirge/10 Scholar even though I am a 19 Dirge/21 Jeweler. It lists my last play time as 12/2/07. Anyone know how often this thing updates and anything I need to do to make it happen?
