SIgh, cant kill heroic :(

<p>I got an Adept 3 tank pet at lvl 27.</p><p>Trying to get into a place surrounded by Heroics.  I BARELY survive a lvl 22 Heroic green.  Got Adept one spells cept my Lifetap witch is Master 2.  I even lost a couple battles.</p><p>Now my SK at 26 was able to solo 25 Heroics without breaking  a sweat and mostly has base level spells.</p><p> My wife has a 17 Fury, would she be able to keep my pet healed as I need to get the last of my AQ6 quest done and he's gonna be a level 25 with 2 buddies.</p>

<p>Hello mate.</p><p>While Necro's are one of the strongest solo classes in EQ, we dont really start owning heroics untill we get Tainted heals, at least in my experience. What you are lacking is clearly pet heals, which you also indicate your self.</p><p>With that said, once you do get tainted heals, it becomes a hole new game, it really does.</p><p>Example:</p><p>At level 56 without tainted heals i couldnt take out any ^^^ heroics at all pretty much. Maybe a very green of the verge of grey. My healing consisted of a puny 4xx heal with a small healing tick for a few seconds after that (the normal pet heal), the "transfer life" which bare shows up on the pets hp bar, and my staff from living tomb with a 15min cooldown.</p><p>I never, EVER use those spells anymore. With tainted heals i can litterally spam 2k heals, pretty much non-stop. Taking out heroics is now a breeze, and they can be white and ^^^ at that <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>So imho, it all comes down to when you have enough AA's for tainted heals. You are a king among solo'ers before you get tainted heals - but...you are a GOD among solo'ers after you get tainted heals <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p><p>Enjoy!</p>

You said you are using an Adept III tank pet, but are you using at the very least an Adept I <span class="pn-content-page-body">Grisly Defense?  I try to keep my pets at all Adept III, as well as the </span><span class="pn-content-page-body">offensive</span><span class="pn-content-page-body">/</span><span class="pn-content-page-body">defensive</span><span class="pn-content-page-body"> stances. At the very least I use Adept I when I can't get ahold of Adept III. It makes a huge difference.</span>

<p>have to agree with miztery - you cant imagine the difference tainted heal makes.  at level 72 i can easily take down level 80 mobs (ordinary ones) but heroics around my level are not too difficult.  at level 70 i solo'd the magolemus which i was pretty pleased with (level 50 ^^^ epic x2).  if you have undead tide up too necros solo just great.  also when you reach level cap it is worth saving up for master 1 tank pet but as you level so fast as necro not worth spending a fortune for now. just hang on in there - well worth it eventually.</p><p>Hellstone</p>

Yep, you will get better at it once you start leveling. Necros (Summoners) pretty much rule the solo content. You just have to figure out what you need to solo heroics. I suggest better pet and defensive stance as a start. )

<p>Alrighty, thanx soo much for the replies.</p><p>My defensive stance is Apprentice 1 lol so I'll grab myself some paladium and go craft me an adept 3.</p><p>Thanx again for the replies.  Gonna start planning my Tainted Heals line too hehe</p>
