Walk me thru this (quest options)

<p>20th Inquistor and started in TD.  New player so go slow with how to get around</p><p>I read that at 20th there are some good quests for xp and aa for the ending quests in Neriak. </p><p>I want to go there before I do the Butcherblock quests.    So how/where to I go to get these ending neriak (or whatever you call their starting zone).  My goal is to get 2 or 3 levels/aa there, then do the BBM mountain quests</p><p>I read about a carpet in sinking sands, but when I got there, saw just one that said "return to BBM" and return to , umm think Qeynos Harbor</p>

The map screen has a tab marked "World" which shows all the routes to basically anywhere in the world.

I actually have the  same question.  I'm new and level 20, finished with Tim. Deep. and need to find new places.  So how does one get to Neriak?  edit - don't let my join date fool you, i bought the game at launch and played for a month.  I am here now for good ([Removed for Content] SWG)

You should be able to get on the boat in Tim Deep and take it to Nek Forest. From there, head to the Commonlands, then Darklight Woods and finally Neriak.The starting zone for Neriak residents is Darklight Woods...Neriak being their city. The higher quests for Darklight Woods are like 19 - 20 if I remember right, but there are only a couple that I am aware of.

<p>I've never been to TD, so you'll have to bear with me, but...</p><p>You said there was a carpet.  Now, I'd think it was pretty odd if it said to go to Qeynos Harbor, since TD is an evil area, and QH is right smack in the middle of the goodie city.  I wouldn't recommend going there.</p><p>If your carpet says "return to Freeport", take that.  It should take you to the East Freeport docks, and from there, look for a bell on the dock that says "travel outside of Freeport."  Right click on the bell, and choose Commonlands.</p><p>From the CL docks, hmm.....probably the easiest (not quickest) way to the Darklight Woods entrance would be to follow the coast to the north, and then swing to the west once you hit the top of the zone.  You'll pass Wailing Caves, and continue west , hugging the mountains to your right.  Darklight Woods entrance is pretty much the center due north zone in CL, so when you see a big elaborate gate in the mountainside, that's it.</p><p>If you don't get the Freeport option on the carpet, go ahead and go to Butcherblock.  From there, take the boat to Nektulos Forest (it'll leave from the left side dock).  When you get to Nek, you will need to cross the zone to the Commonlands entrance.  You have to cross the beach and go up the path, and once you do that, just follow the road to the river and turn right.  Follow the river until you get to a huge bridge, and CL will be right there.  To get to Darklight from there, just head east along the north side of the zone.</p><p>Of the two, the Butcherblock option is the harder and more dangerous, though at level 20 it shouldn't be too bad.  You can't use the griffon tower at the Nek docks, since you have to complete a quest in order to use it.  And if you get lost, just ask for help in OOC.  Most folks will be willing to point you in the right direction.</p>

I didn't think there was a boat from TD, unless I've missed something? There is a griffon that will take you to Butcherblock on the docks just across from the carpet. Once you complete all the quests in TD your almost directed to Butcherblock to the small Sarnak camp there. From the docks are Butcherblock you can get the boat to either Nek forest or to Thundering Steppes.
