So to my understanding our new level 80 spell (Bloodletter) restores us to full health after what would have been a fatal blow by stealing the health from our party mates. This health cost for healing us is divided amongst the party members. For example if there are 6 total members (5 not including the SK) then each of the 5 sacrifices 20% health to heal the sk for 100%. So theoretically if there is only one other party member (as in a duo) that party member would have to sacrifice 100% of their health to heal us to 100%. Wouldn't they be rendered unconscious?Has anyone looked at this?

The spell requires 3 party members, yourself and two others, in order to work.

I used it with a warden in my group i had the person FD and hit one of the x4s in freeport. Took the warden to 1hp and healed me for about 4.5k

I don't think this is working as intended. The spell description says otherwise and from a balance point of view having bloodletter needed on only one person is a lot more powerful. Since you'll probably have (hopefully) a lot more HP than anyone in the group, you can just have all group members but one click it off so that when things get tough and bloodletter triggers only one other person is penalized for health. This would mean a net gain in HP. Keep it on someone with a safehouse ability or deathsave and even a stray aoe or dot tick won't kill them after bloodletter. That being said, it does work with only one person at this time. Don't expect it to stay that way.

Happy to hear that it does though. Would be too bad to not be able to use a lvl 80 ability unless you are in a foursome or greater.

Bloodletter experiences: Adept IIIIt appears to be working erratically. I am not sure how many need to be in group. Have only tested it so far with 3 or more in group and in one raid. When the SK is dealt the death blow, the effect is instantaneous. Health bar shoots up with no delay, and I do not believe that I even lose aggro. I will need to experiment more before I claim that as fact. My immediate impression was that, Wow! Its like having 18000 hit points instead of my normal 9000+! Initially the spell was listed as having 2 triggers. It is now 1 trigger. The spell does seem to require that the drained donor be within the 50 meter range. Used with 3 in group, one close the others more than 50 meters away, the close donor immediately dropped to 1 hit point, the others were unaffected. Used with the other two group members in range, all showed the same percentage drop on their health bars when it tiggered (which seemed to indicate that the amount donated was percentage based rather than equal number of hit points from each donor). It will not kill anyone that donates but can leave them with 1 hit point. In raid last night the spell appeared to be totally broken and not doing a darn thing. Also, mysteriously, it needed to be recast at times, disappearing for unknown reasons (both in groups and the one raid - it showed up in raid icons after each casting but just didn't do anything). I will post again after more experiences with it. My initial impression is that it has tremendous import for the raiding SK if the raid leaders will try to make use of it. Guardians work hard to maximize hit points for MTing. All of a sudden the SK shows up with an easy 18000 hit points using bloodletter. Hmmm It will take awhile for people to wake up to its value and I'm sure Sony is watching it closely to see where the nerf will be applied. lol Grouping utility could also be of tremendous value. Just need to play with it some more to find its uses and limitations.
