Frostfell 2007?

<p>If its anything like past years it wont be put in till a matter of days before Christmas which I think is total crap. Id like to enjoy Frostfell before Christmas arrives, i'm sure those that celebrate holidays other then Christmas might agree. Alot of people travel for the holidays and like myself, miss out on it until after its over. I dont know about others but once your holiday has come and went (not just Christmas but all of the seasons holidays) its done and time to move on. I dont find Frostfell enjoying at all when the holiday I celebrate has come and gone before I even see it. If SOE has a clue this year it will be implemented at least a couple weeks before hand. That way not only those that celebrate Christmas get a chance to enjoy it but the whole spectrum of the seasons holidays before they are here and gone.</p><p>For some its about the anticipation and spirit of the holiday coming, not just the day(s) itself/themselves. I hope Sony takes that into consideration this year.</p><p>Just my 2cp</p>

The frostfall stuff may not be here till December 20th ((guestimating)) but don't forget that those servers who have guides on them do run their holiday dynamic quests too. I've seen them on both of the servers I play on, trying to give us some extra content.

<p>Hey!</p><p>Lets all get together and petition Soe that Frostfell should go LIVE on the 12th!</p><p>It seems fitting to me that there be 12 days of celebration (and a little more) They could run it thru till the 2ond of January ( a wed which is typically update day anyway) I think that would give folks who do go "home for the holiday" a bit of a taste of it and if it's done and things are put back to normal on the 2ond then most won't get too too bored with it. they could do it up really kool and actually have something to signify the "new year" as a culmination to Frostfell.</p><p>ah well, at least I can decorate my houses in the Frostfell way from stuff I saved from the last couple years. I guess I shouldn't complain too much about it as there are MANY games that don't do anything. <p>Yes, and soon.  I am working on a lil' feature for the end of the week to show some of the fun stuff goin' in.  I can't specifially say the date, although to my knowledge it is planned for within the next week and a half, since such timing does sometimes waver.</p><p>~Gnobrin!</p>

I can't wait!  I sooo look forward to Frostfell each year.  I do wish we had more time with it though!  At any rate, I'll be grateful once it hits test.  Once it hits test it's only a matter of time before it goes live!I'd like to see gingerbread houses this year...that would be such a nice item to have!  Or maybe a huge gingerbread house could be implemented as a quest, with a cute house item reward, kinda like the haunted houses are in the game for Halloween!  I know it's late in the season, but there's always next year to start planning for!OOHHH I'm so excited!  /bounces happily thinking about Frostfell

As this will be my first Frostfell (and I can't tell you how excited I am for it), can someone point me to some event info from the past?  I visited a wonderfully decorated house yesterday with wreaths, presents, a huge tree....I would love to be able to get these! <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Let's see....quests for trees and wreaths, the candy cane grab game, the land of Frostfell itself, crafting all kinds of goodies with special recipes in the Frostfell land, and on and on.  I don't want to give too much away of course, but I think you'll enjoy it especially if this is your first Frostfell event.

/em applaud to all the [Removed for Content] that ask the RoK nerf XP on quest and nerf on item sooner than it should be./em slap SOE face to give us those nerf in the same time we should celebrated Frostfell./em wonder why all those content rusher are always CHEERS to continue their bidding expansion after expansion...  while to others who take time to appreciate will be penalized to grind the 5 last level, while the first had rush through it without grinding mob for a mere .1%.Marie-Ange
