Our warlock differentiator for getting the shaft in not having our own self intelligence buff like a wizard was supposedly having this self buff to increase disruption, subjugation, ordination, etc. of yourself and your group. Fine, if that's SoE's logic for screwing warlocks out of a self int buff (and dont get me started on nil crystals) compared to what they give wizards.

But ok, if that's the case, where the hell is our spell progression going from T7 to T8?

At T7, Seal of Dismal Logic M1 is +33 to disrupt, sub, ord, etc.

At T8, our upgrade to this line is Mage's Pact. But the adept3 version is the exact same +33.

So what's the point of upgrading? Unlike a root or a nuke, you cant even make the fuzzy debate of whether you'd hit more or get less resists with a t8 adept3 dmg spell vs. a t7 m1.

SoE - take a look at this spell. you're not even throwing the laughably small bone of tiny increase to spell dmg for our other t8 nukes at a3 vs t7 m1. You've set this to be exactly the same +33 to spell cast skills whether you're using the t7 master or t8 a3.

Upgrading from a T7 M1 to a T8 Ad3 is giving roughly a 2% increase across the board. This is smaller than in previous teirs, supposedly because we're going from a 14 level replacement system to a 10 level replacement system.0.02 * 33 = 0.66. If they rounded up, we should get one extra point, but SoE usually truncates. So I don't think its totally unreasonable that T7 M1 = T8 Ad3. It's just more noticable on stuff with small numbers, like mage pact, than it is on big stuff like distortion. And as far as comparing our buff to the Wizzie INT, ours doesn't suffer diminishing returns like theirs do. +33 casting skills is just as powerful at 80 as it was at 70, but +80 INT is not.
