Well I had intended on following that guide and being able to compete in pvp, but I have heard that after RoK MC gear isnt as good as it used to be. I have lvled up my tradeskill to lvl21 and taken up tinkering, but what should I do about gear? Is it worth it to try going up to Timorous Deep and trying to get the quest gear? Should I even bother lvl locking then? Thanks for any help people can provide. I've heard questing in TD isn't too bad, you just randomly get rolled by groups of FP.

Sorry that this statement doesnt really relate to your post, but, are they going to make a Good Sarnak starting place? i think it is stupid that qs are only in T2 mc gear while fps are in overpowered treasured gear in pvp while both are attacking one another, doesnt make sense imo. Just the other day i saw a t2 mc'd all the way 16 paladin + adornments and flickerings, (inspected him) having like 1k hp and 1.5k pwr getting owned really quick apparently by 12 dirge who only had like 3 treasured gear and full set of the t2 treasured jewelery (no adornments or flickerings)

But i should still comment on your post, well i would recommend if you want to you can go, i went to the TD once with my ranger, i got some gear but i have to say you're going to have to live through the gankings sadly. Also if you want to pvp mostly if thats why you came here, you should still lvl lock to experiance loads of pvp in t2 imho.

Hope that helps =)

Hopefully.. they'll nerf the gear being picked up by T2 players in RoK like they did the T8 treasured gear. As it stands now.. all those who trade skill T2 MC gear are sitting on it at the moment.

Well, the gear's available to both sides, but it seems like everyone's making a sarnak to try out the new content, which of course leads to an overwhelming disparity in low level population.

A lot can be done to remedy that, though, by allowing the chests that drop the treasured level 11 and 16 items in a "good" zone. As it stands if you're a good character, good luck living very long in TD.

And yeah, right now, mastercrafted is junk. The jewelry in T2 has never really been great, though.

It is trivial to get to TD, quest, and earn the exact same rewards as the evils. In fact, from everything I've seen, Qs are more likely than FPs to group in the zone, which of course means they out-pvp everyone that doesn't group. I find the double standard of complaining totally hilarious. Someone makes a thread about an item that too closely replaces his Paladin's Lay on Hands and everyone screams IF ANYONE CAN GET IT STOP CRYING. Then the EXACT SAME PEOPLE turn around and completely break down SOBBING that Good doesn't have a starting zone like TD, even though it is completely trivial for any character to get to TD and quest. There aren't even guards hostile to the opposite faction like in every lowbie Q zone. It's just totally ludicrous and I hope you people are the same ones that will be cancelling when level locking gets removed or nerfed into oblivion next LU.
