Betraying

<p>Since the RoK launch i have been thinking of Betraying to Qeynos and to a Mystic /shudder...Is this a good move? I don't know alot about the Mystic.  I do hear they have some pretty neat things going on in their AA tree.  I also hear they do alot better soloing?  What are some pro's and Cons..</p><p>Thanks</p><p> Thunderspear</p>

I don't play a mystic, but from reading and talking to my mystic friends, they seem to have better melee dps than we do and an easier time soloing. Their buffs are not as strong as ours if you are grouping with a well equipped tank that is up against the diminishing returns curve. It probably wouldn't be noticeable in a group where the tank is not raid equipped. Heals are roughly equivalent. They don't have any power regen spells, so all regen would be dependant on equipment. But if you shudder at the thought of Qeynos, perhaps you are really a defiler at heart?

( both of his are raid level )  Defilers have a MUCH better EoF line.   My boyfriend is at 136 AA's and still has 70/54 assigned.   The rest is garbage and he does not bother to assign them.</p><p>If you solo alot or are a low level Mystics are the way to go.    If you like haveing great abilities, better debuffs, better buffs, better heals and power regen stay Defiler. When we box both Mystics we can duo Karnors with little risk, so they are nice DPS.</p><p>PS  one EoF line is reducing casting timers and costs of Rezzing.   One line is adding a 100 point ward on your heals ( 5 points=100 points ) that only wards the type of damage the cure is.   One is the combat line,  ( which does NOT keep dogdog alive longer ) the last one is augmenting, increases fortelling, adds a small amount of Wis/int on their avatar line, SoW to 40%, Increases their worthless healing beaver<img src="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/images/smilies/97ada74b88049a6d50a6ed40898a03d7.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />, Increases bolster ( nice one finally ) and increases the amount of their stunning ward ( you want to be stunned for 45 seconds?)<img src="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/images/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />  No attack, no debuffing no nothing... insta AFK break</p>

So how much dps can a defiler do? Would realy like some numbers so I can compare. If anyone could post some numbers of dps at T7 (end game eof) when soloing a heroic 3 arrows up (note con and int plz) I would realy appriziate it <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />" width="15" height="15" />. How much int can I expect to get as a very casual raider?</p><p>Edit: I am also wondering how much I will miss my regenerative ward on mitt buff, it realy is great.</p>

<p>Honestly Compared to a Mystic forget soloing. It is painful in comparison. In all other areas when I am on my Defiler it is like a Mystic on crack. There is a reason Defilers are in 99% of the MT groups. Despite the Mit buff Defiler buffs are ALOT better buffers, never will you run out of power, your heals are bigger and faster. Wards are the same except Defilers have some like Templar Lottos.   Soul Ward rules... no stun.   All 4 EoF lines are nice... EVERY ONE.   In grops defilers are a little better.  In raids we RULE.</p><p>                       Mystic                 Defiler</p><p>Solo                    10                       5</p><p>Goups                  8                       10</p><p>Raids                    5                       10</p><p>   RoK has ALOT of solo  content though... so tough call   if you are going to raid          <u><b>betray</b></u></p>

I really don't have problems soloing my defiler........sure its really slow but I really never worry about dieing solo.....post RoK I am seeing some DPS increase from the added AA points I am at 120 and loving it so far.....so why bother with Qeynos........it's just full of annoying goodies anyway<img src="/eq2/images/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />
