Hi,as 51 coercer I wasn't actually concerned about some threads posted in the forum concerning ROK mobs immunities...but as a future 70 coercer I feel more worried about the situation.I mostly duo because it s the way I like to play...I knew that KoS mob resistances was a little higher and debuff was strongly needed to coerce correctly but it seems that ROK is a hell for a coercer. Not more resistances just immunities for the major part of the named. And that s hurt me because I like the coerce based play.Could you confirm plz that the situation is so bad ? Perphas could you bring some percent based on experiences. Thanks for your informations

<p>Well, I've been in 4 instances and many contested zones in RoK (no raids just yet) and the immunities are limited to a very small number of trash mobs, and to quite a few (but by no means all) named mobs.     There's certainly more immune named mobs than there were in T7, yes.    So for named fights you'll often - but not always - be dps, not damage mitigation.</p><p>I suspect SOE are trying to make most nameds less soloable.    However, there are LOTS of single ^ nameds in the overland areas that are very soloable.</p><p>In terms of general soloing, I didn't hit an immune mob (to mes) until I went to Jasarth Wastes, and even there it's a limited number of mobs (on what I've fought so far).</p><p>I wasn't in beta, but I guess unless the beta testers were just a bunch of whining kiddies, that the immunities were toned down on release.</p><p>The interesting thing is that, with WIS line spec for levelling, I haven't found a single (messable) mob that I can't mes very reliably with my Tier7 M1 mes spell, and that includes L84 mobs in Charsith and Maiden's Chamber.</p><p>There is also a nice range of nuking pets.</p><p>In instances, there's a few places where coercers (or illus) are very handy.    The Crypt has a nasty power debuff that makes all arts cost double power, so our regen is very useful.    The last named in Vault has two adds that need to be messed/rooted.   The Sandman named in Maiden's Chamber has adds that are probably best messed while the named is burnt down away from them (they seem to heal him).    And a lot of zones have roamers to consider. </p><p>So T8 isn't the doom and gloom that a few beta people suggested.   Not yet at least <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />" width="15" height="15" /></p>

Can you mention a single stunable heroic named from a dungeon or instance?

I cant remember the name, ive only done the instance once, but the first name in Maiden's Chamber is not only stun, stifle, root and dazeable, but also mezzable! <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Isn t it the case ?By the way, talking about immunities does it means for you as real complete immunities or the fact that the mobs can cast some special spells (ex nameds of Minesof Meldrath) during stun and mez ?Thanks for you response
