There's a reason that they removed Focused Aim....ever considered ~100% crit with that new PvP bow and an almost 50% chance to double attack with at LEAST 10 haste and 10 DPS from gear? God classes shouldn't exist...some other classes get crazy stuff, but not from 35m away..not even wizards can kill as fast from as far.

Also, magic resistances in general have improved. Physical mitigation bonuses have only recieved a slight increase in some cases, and a decrease in most..isn't that enough? And I mean the actualy NUMBER decreases for most classes...instead of a level 70 tunic with 345 mit, there are level 79s with 301 (for leather).

Rangers are balanced for once...a good ranger can kill as well as any good scout, a bad ranger...doesn't get over destroyer.

EDIT: point of this post, NO REASON FOR RANGERS TO COMPLAIN

It's not as good as you think. Far from it.And how do you figure 100% crits and 50% double attack?Gear haste and -dps was, even for me, about 30 to each at lvl 70.Edit: To all here, not to Evenstar in particular, I know it's difficult to know the details of other classes but you giving wrong information is exactly why we [Removed for Content] back. If you're not sure about something ask about it and someone will tell you. If you get corrected then please contemplate learning from it instead of repeating misinformation.

Look at the new gear...there's a lot of + double attack chance on it..and the bow itself has 5. Focused aim does, from what I've heard, give you a huge chance to crit and huge +ranged buff. (well..I could be misinformed about the crit but being able to shoot out unparryable arrows?)

Crit's would indeed be close to 100 with the right gear and focus aim. Ranged double attack... don't know but hardly 50%. More like half if you're raiding very hard.(double attack does not increase ranged double attack. It's a different modifier.)

There's special gear for +ranged double attack chance. There's two kinds yes, +melee DA chance and +ranged DA. There's quite a lot of gear for both kinds. Rangers can get a really nice chance to double attack, never get parried, have their Quick Shot trigger insanely etc etc...hence the removing of Focused Aim.

Bows are best when used with arrows the tier under them, or atleast that was the way it was when I was a ranger. It helps maximize the their damage potential, there is math to it, but im to lazy to look it up.

If you had t7 arrows (lvl 57) and raincaller (lvl 57) that was the perfect match. Exchange bow to Bylze (lvl 59) and you got like 95% out of it. With the new t8 arrows Bylze is 100% useful (so bylze got an upgrade in Kunark so to speak. Oh the horror!). With the pvp bow (lvl 80) and t8-lvl 67 arrows you'll get around 75% of the bow's potential. That'll still be great bow of course but it won't be as scary as it looks on paper.

http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=371338 <- info on arrow mechanics

And we will all have it sooner or later.
