Not to be a big complainer but that seems like things that should have been easily caught in beta testing...Or perhaps it was and just never fixed. Not a gamebreaker but a tad annoying..

SOE hates Necros. We get broken every expansion and are usually last to be fixed.

The stupid thing is they are hotfixing to do a HUGE gear nerf yet dont appear to be fixing anything with spell scaling and broken spells/pets in general.

I cant agree that SOE hates necro's.

Ive played too many other classes that really are hated, and with things that are last to be fixed or never fixed.

At this time, I can only think of two longstanding issues that are never fixed, or fixed and then broken and then fixed and then broken.

The first is the pet's continuing inability to AF. The second is the pet's lack of cooperation on slopes. At present though, these are merely annoyances.

I'm not suprised this is happening cause the stuff is pretty crazy. But, the nonRaid content (at the very least) seemed to require such crazy gear. I got the impression that the crazy gear was intended to be the offset with how hard the mobs hit and how many HP they seem to have.

If i summon my scout pet, it doenst have that 15% bonus. But when i let it die and use the instant resummon AA of the scout line, it then has the 15% bonus. weird stuff.
Virulence wrote:

The stupid thing is they are hotfixing to do a HUGE gear nerf yet dont appear to be fixing anything with spell scaling and broken spells/pets in general.

From a game development perspective this isn't stupid. Its absolutely what they should be doing.

These small issues do not have as adverse an effect on the players as the gear and player advantages have against the game... As most anyone L70+ can tell you... we're still doing quite fine vs the majority of the new content even with our old M1 and adept III spells...

Yes, this is all annoying not to squeeze every ounce of our new performance benefits from our chars, but fixing that before fixing other issues that already give us advantage over the content just makes the game more trivial, or for some period of time, easier than it should otherwise be. And by the looks of it, even when they scale back (or nerf if you prefer) gear, the players will STILL be far ahead of the curve vs most mobs.

So yes... fix the player vs environment imbalances... deal with those 1st, then scale the player back UP to where they should be in comparison with a properly balance environment.

I worked 12 hours today and just got home....I see that this appears to have been fixed. Anyone else notice this?
