Does anyone have an opinion or info on the "best" number for your primary stat given the diminishing returns curve ?

ie - as a templar my main stat is wisdom but at what point is it simply not worth adding more wisdom points - 600 ? 700 ? higher ?

Is there a generally held figure/ view on this ?

Or am i just barking up the wrong tree ? !

I guess there are two figures to consider --- solo and raid buffed.

but what should you aim for in both cases ?

My understanding was that at level 70 you should aim for 550. Past 550, you would still see benefit, much less. I never ever got an exact on what the soft and hard cap formulae was though, and now I'm not at all sure with the new level cap.

Upon reflection, I'm convinced the only way to get the 'real' numbers is to flat out make a claim, and bait someone else into revealing the super-secret cap where stats are no longer worth increasing.

Therefore, and with absolute certainty, I'm stating that the 'soft cap' is 650.
