Im just wondering if maybe one of the Admins could answer a question. How often does EQ2Players actually get updated to show current characterprofiles. I mean heh, i hit level 78 back on November 22th and this is the 28thand i hit 80 2 days ago and Yep it still says level 78. New armor upgrades still not there. Now i would think that with the extra 4-7 dollars a month that people pay for the service of EQ2Players website, and that depends on if people pay the extra 2.99for the add ons (more image storage and whatnot) , Times ohh God knows how many people out of all your Station players accounts, adds up to a couple million dollars extraa month for SoE. Now not to throw stones, but for a couple million a month you shouldhave the best website and service in the world. Is this site being maintained by a single person who makes a whopping 30k a year while SoE makes millions and millions a year offa service that your lucky to actually see updated once a week ? Im thinking its almost not worth it at this point./Flame off

It generally lags behind the servers by a few days. I'm not 64 anymore either but I'm sure I'll get over it.

Was wondering that myself, it's off by a few levels on a bunch of my characters and one it doesn't even have at all yet, not to mention I noticed some stuff is just flat out wrong, like proc damage on weapons, and creation date for one of my characters for that matter, I created the character on release back in 04 and it says she wasn't created till july 06.

your prolly referring to my sig with the unreal low crafted item counteq2players resets the number of npc kills and craftd items to 0 when you server transfer....(as a side note, making a stack of 100 arrows actually counts as crafting 100 items).

I could totally live with a 24 hour delay in updating, syncing server info with eq2players once a day, sure great. But when its up to 7 days laterbefore you see updated character profiles that aren't always that accurate.I just think that since most of us have to pay for this service, it isn't freeafter all, that the updates should happen a little more often. I'm not in anywaydissing SOE , I think the Site is great, and is a great tool for being able to lookat potential guild applicants profiles, and see the abilities/spells of other character classes you hav'nt made yet and might like to to try. But if you were paying for a service that provided you with up to date statistics on stock values that you basedyour trading on, you wouldn't do well if they were providing you with last weeks info.Obviously this isn't stock trading and no one is loosing any money because of it,just the concept of services rendered for what your paying for.

It shouldn't be taking that long to update. We are working on improving it and understand your frustrations. Please work with us while we get it sorted. Thanks ahead of time for your patience.

That by itself is a huge improvement. The silent treatment was getting old. Hope you get it sorted before long. Guild rosters are even slower to update than the character profiles.

Interesting...my sig is from a character named Spyrit. Not my character and no clue who he is.I checked the player number and copy and pasted it directly from the signature generator and it stays the same.*edit* I ended up fixing it by adding &locale=en_US to the end of the player number in my sig.
