T8 legendary better than T7 fabled gear?

<p>Hi Guys</p><p> 76 raiding wizzy here</p><p>Have 6     t7 class pieces (pants missing)</p><p>I am seeig all the fine procs and damage bonus on the T8 pieces and  are starting to abandon my hard earned wizard class gear</p><p>Of course the T8 class gear is the target eventually</p><p>  But looking at some of the pieces i am getting  especially the jewlery!!! I might not wear any of the T7 fabled</p><p> The "Minds Eye Robe and Pants" for dps for instance</p><p>Any thoughts?</p>

<p>Seems that the new Legendary items are marginally better than KOS fabled.  Not sure how they compare vs EOF fabled.</p><p>I think the idea was to allow non-raider to do the new group instances while still maintaining some sort of challenge to KOS/OEF fabled characters in those zones as well.  Have no fear though, from the links I have been seeing you'll be replacing those new Legendary items with some insane fabled drops from Kunark.</p>

Note that EoF fabled spell bonuses do not apply to T8 spells. I am wearing 5pcs atm.  I am all but ready to give them up if I can find 3 more pieces worth it (found good forearm and head atm)

<p>After doing a lot of the quests the only t7 fabled I am wearing atm are EoF legs, Breath of the destroyer for a hat and vine wrapped boot, I have all 7 pieces of EoF fabled, the rest are treasuerd/legendary quest rewards.  </p><p>I lose some power/health, but what ever, I have a pleteria of power proc gear now which will more than make up for the loss in total power if the fight lasts that long and health, /shrug I still get 2 shoted most fo the time and an extra 400 health is not going to save me.</p>

Very few pieces that are still good enough to keep regardless of where you got them. To list a few, Vine wrapped boots ( but then the phantom boots can kinda keep up with these with the uber 120 spell dmg ) Wand of plasma or the Orb that procs the same thing but better off contested mayong, the EH pants, some of the proc pieces ( not all ; ring of supremecy blows, the one from LoA due to its really low int and only 400 dmg kinda sucks to name a few. On the bright side, we can finally replace that blasted BCG since there's a better belt! The helm from maidens with +2 crit and 95 spell dmg and 42 int is better then breath one from DT if ya ask me <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY<img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />" width="15" height="15" /> But yea all and all, you will definately be replacing the fabled t7 gear very soon if you havent yet. I wear no fabled but my neck piece, only because I havent found better, my wand of plasma, my necromantic orb of the death revelar and vine wrapped.

I think Mercurial Windblade (1% crit  35 BoE 2% recast 2% cast speed) is better that Wand of Crystalized plasma.  If not it's very very close, plus it looks really cool

<p>Ive just started on the Kunzar Jungle quests and so far I havent replaced my prismatic 2.0 or my chest item which is a Dracomancer mantle with the adornment that adds +6 to int ect. I'm only lvl 76 but so far it does seem like the answer is yes, RoK ledgendary is better then EoF and KoS fabled. (I was wearing a mixture)</p>
