I havent been able to find any thread that is specifically related to this, on the forums. Up to now, the best heroic and epic instances Ive seen are RoV and Cauldren Hollow; since im taking my time to level my crafters.

I do know that the game becomes more beutiful and interesting as you level up, and I cant wait to see more and more. Can any of you post epic/heroic pics, and name the zone and level? Any level will do. Im just trying to look forward to the zones that I will be seeing.

Thanks

There are instances that just look absolutely beautiful or at least have some eye catchers strategically (or not so strategically) placed within the zone. One absolutely awesome zone graphics-wise is Permafrost - it's for Level 45 characters or something and the first time I saw the castle in there I was absolutely blown away. Unluckily I lost all the screenshots :/But here are some other zones:Solusek's Eye, Heroic - Level 45+, Home of Lord NagafenObelisk of Blight, Heroic - Level ~68+Den of the Devourer (I guess), Heroic - Level ~68+The Estate of Unrest, Heroic - Level 70Deathtoll, Epic - Level 70, Home of the imho best-looking Mob in the whole game, Tarinax the DestroyerMistmoore Inner Sanctum, Epic - Level 70

those screens are beutiful, I am surprised that most of those screens are heroic content, considering that they are muche asier to see than epic zones. Am I correct in assuming that epic content will almost always have the best looking graphics in the game. In comparison to heroic and soloed content.

Still thank you; great screens.

Not necessarily, most of the textures used in Epic zones are the same textures used in Heroic versions.I wish I had thought to take some pictures of Charasis. That's a beautiful new dungeon zone in RoK for the high 70's.Here are some older ones, though: New Tunaria (Greater Faydark; Levels 60-70)Permafrost (Everfrost; Levels 45-50)Mistmoore Castle - Exterior as seen from Loping Plains (Levels 72-80)Crushbone Keep (Greater Faydark; Levels 25-35)The Clefts of Rujark (Sinking Sands; Levels 52-5There are many, many others with unique looks, that I sadly deleted from my hardrive at some point, it would seem. They include:Stormhold (Antonica, Levels 22-30)Fallen Gate (Commonlands, Levels 20-2Wailing Caves (Commonlands, Levels 14-21)Blackburrow (Antonica, Levels 12-19)Nektropos Castle (Instanced Dungeon, Nektulos Forest, Levels 30-3Deathfist Citadel (Instanced Dungeon, The Orcish Wastes, Levels 35-45)Runnyeye Citadel (The Enchanted Lands, Levels 37-42)The Temple of Cazic Thule (The Feerott, Levels 42-52)Klak'Anon / The Clockwork Menace Factory (Heroic / Epic, Steamfont, Levels 50-55)The Living Tombs / The Silent City (Heroic / Epic, Sinking Sands, Levels 50-60)Poet's Palace (Instanced Dungeon, Pillars of Flame, Levels 57-63)Sanctum of the Scaleborn (Tenebrous Tangle, Levels 63-72)*The Nest of the Great Egg (Barren Sky, Levels 63-67)**The Halls of Fate (Instanced Dungeon, Bonemire, Levels 67-72)****shares its textures with multiple other zones including the Lyceum of Abhorrence, Temple of Scale, and Halls of Seeing** shares its textures with multiple other zones including Palace of the Awakened, Vaults of El Arad, Ascent of the Awakened, Pedestal of Sky, and others*** shares its textures with: Den of the Devourer, Blackscale Sepulcher, Deathtoll, and othersMaybe I'll get some RoK pics up after I get some good enough ones.EDIT -- I do not use that many smiley's -- this board translates any numeral 8 followed by an ) as a smiley ... argh.

The main thing you need is a decent video card. Any GeForce 7 series is more than adequate, though 256bit interfaces are better than 128bit, and you'll want the sweet spot of 256-512MB video memory on the card -- but remember, it has to have the bandwidth and clock speed to push all that data ... some "bargain" cards advertise "512MB!!!" but perform worse than a 3 year-old card bc they have crappy speed and low bandwidth. So, more memory in a video card is only valuable if it also has high processing speeds and wide pathways, so to say. Following that, the more system RAM the better. Most computers now use DDR or DDR2, both of which are cheap as hell at the moment and the easiest part of a PC to upgrade. The game, through all its expansions, will eat up about 1.5GB of RAM easily. And your OS needs some, itself. So I've been recommending that, if you want consistently smooth performance, you need about 2GB of RAM on top of a good video card. Processor requirements seem pretty low and mostly unchanged for this game, so 2Ghz or better will do you just fine. And by the way -- my screenshots are docotored. I add an extra blur filter and/or sharpening filter to them, as well as mega-high contrast to make the colors ultra vivid. And those settings are not playable settings -- they are for looks only. So don't feel too bad. heheh
