View Full Version : Subtle fix for the patheticness that is the Rezz AA tree

Was just thinking about this today and even though I know Devs never even glance at this section I thought I would post.

While I was thinking about the rezz tree it came to mind that in no other game I have played is there a rezz sickness when a player rezzes another players. When a player releases there should be the sickness, but waht is the logic of punishing a player for getting a rezz from another player? This makes battle rezzes pointless because that player will be mainly useless for 2 minutes.

Now if they removed the rezz sickness from player rezz the rezz tree may actually be worth it because now not only can you revive that tank that got spike killed, but you can do it more frequently, with more power and health, and have an "oh crap we are about to wipe" save.

What are other people's thoughts on this?

Darn fine idea. AA line that gives reduces casting time, recovery time, increases radius, and for the final ability, no rez sickness? that'd be tempting alright. But..... Since there is absolutely nothing that I know of in the game that prevents rez sickness, SOE would have to in effect introduce something that would circumvent what they seem to have set as a limiting rule. In other words, do not hold your breath. Besides, think of how unbelievable that power would be in raids. We'd be the hottest ticket in town. I doubt SOE wants to give mystics that kind of advantage over all other rezzing classes.

The end ability Spirit Dance doesnt have rezz sickness and characters will have about 50% mana and health. And its quite fast to cast and recast =) and it takes care of 8 people at the same time =)

Before people start flaming about how crappy the whole line is... well i admit its crappy rather have a healing line nistead of it...but considereing the choices i have... cure and rez...i think its more usefull than the cure lines =)

Hmm, I don't think that we would be a glaring overpowerment because it would be all priest rezzes that would have a removal of their rezz sickness. Granted our rezes would be faster and more powerful, but if you have 2 non-mystic healers in a raid not including your furies and wardens DPSing you will have plenty of battle rezzes without us.

I think it would make the line useful and at the same time give us a bit of a tip in the scales from our glaringly better counterpart.
