Thank you for blowing one of the last secrets we have left. Probably the only people who don't know are the devs.

/sighyou guys are missing the point!I shouldn't HAVE to do all of that. SoE should just fix the dern thing so it doesn't make me, and Im sure countless others UPSET. If I bought this game cause it's easy mode, compared to most other games. I expect to be handed what I want a silver stinking platter! What you are suggesting is I go out and do needless things I don't have time for. 12 hours.. paahlease.

Yep, it was sarcasm. Just saying though, if you don't have a few hours to dedicate to one thing, then you shouldn't be playing an MMO.

Whether a dev saw this or not FD has been nerfed on test so that this is no longer possible.

Someone in the bruiser forums goes 'look at this cool trick' and then a week later the devs nerf it. I remember when they took away out of group shrug off all because of one post in the forums. That was really beginning of the end of the bruiser as a respectable class to play.

So I guess this means you can finally tell us newbs what the trick is before it gets nerfed?!
Splor

it comes down to one simple thing, if you find something you can do with a bruiser, simply stay quiet and the dev's will forget we exist.

Im kinda curious what the trick was too, I have a feign Death trick myself and nothing in the Nerf seems to indicate its being nerfed so this must be a different trick.

kinda curious as well, its not what I think it is cuz that would still be possible with the upcoming changes, just a lot harder if you screw up.

<p>The trick was that you could fd at a harvest you need that scovered in mobs that will either kill you if you try to collect or will just slow you down and be annoying...like many on these forums...hehe.</p><p>So, you fd at the spot and immediatly press x to stand up and you will have time to harvest the thing before the mobs re-agro. It has to be done very quick though. Habe fun!</p>

And you forgot one important point. The mobs have to move before you FD or they will just reaggro when you stand.

That you can harvest while being attacked? If that is so, sweet. The upcoming adjustment to the FD doesn't seem to be that big a deal really.

Plenty of classes are going to un-toggle FD by accident and get splattered by trains or raid_mob_01, especially with the lag we've been experiencing in RoK raids (<a href="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/posts/list.m?topic_id=398517" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">example</a>)

It isn't a killer nerf in my opinion. But I have been around these boards fer a few years, off and on , and have seen seveal changes to our class that were supposed to end the Bruisers, yet we still go strong.</p><p>I honestly , after the the last Bruiser adjustment we had right before RL made me stop playing again, didn't think Bruisers stood a chance of survivng. After the change, I remember trying to solo a mob I was used to killing and gettin owned! That was a very bleak time indeed.</p><p>Then there was the time we got the mez all but removed, I still don't use it to this day. BUt the Mez was a class defining ability and when that was taken from us, that was supposed to be the nail in the coffin. But yet here we are strong still.</p><p>I guess my point is, the FD, while will not be as nice as it once was, will still be able to get us outa trouble when needed. Will we be able to train through tough zones....probably, but it will be a little harder now. BUt the way I see it, you wait til health is back up, pop up, run your [Removed for Content] off til you can FD again.</p><p>We may have to be using the Spell that stuns/roots us that gives us tons of MIT til we can reset if we can't get outa trouble. Whatever, we will just need to be creative and communicate about whats working for us and spread the news.</p><p>BUt then maybe these are just the rants of a casual player who really just njoys the game for many different reason, umong which is figuring out a challange to overcome.</p>

Well, what do you know, that was my trick. I didnt think it through that with the attacking while harvesting change, it does nullify this trick. My Bad.
