Given the cost and availability of blessings and miracles; I figured for most people, the intended use of blessings and miracles was for a tough boss fight or encounter. With that in mind, I have would like to know what quality is most important in such situations, dps output or sustainability?

In a tough boss/encounter is it more an issue of squeezing out as much dmg as you can before your tank gets taken down, or to have enough power to continue to spam your spells over the course of a long fight?

Looking over Innoruuk or Bertoxxulous, I think Innoruuk's blessings and miracles would be useful for keeping your power up to be able to fire off a consistant stream of spells, and Bertoxxulous' blessings and miracles would work best to give your spells the greatest effect. Either god would fit SK lore wel,l so I was wondering how do those big dungeon/raid encounters go? Are they long drawn out fights where it's more important to be able sustain your level of performance, or are they relatively short bouts where it's a race of trying to burn down the opponent before they take you down?

Nobody uses Blessings or Miracles. They aren't worth the faction they cost and once you run out it's too much of a hassle to keep it up. Just play your toon without them and you'll get on just fine.

Then is the only reason for choosing any Deity, asides from rp, because of their cloaks?

If that's the case, how's Tribune's cloak stack up against all the others? It might seem that independent 5sec stun procs off your CA's and Spells would be pretty good.

That or Sol Ro's cloak for the spell dmg for the boost to SK dps.

The cloaks also work if you change your God, only pets don't work anymore.

So you can for example first go Zek, then Sol Ro if you want the INT-Pet, or first Sol-Ro and then Zek if you want the STR-Pet

If you get a mastercrafted or fabled altar, you may find miracles and blessings cheap enough to be able to afford them on occasion. (Better quality altars reduce the cost.)

At first, there's the whole wow factor, but that quickly wears off when you find out just how much money (in the way of good gear sacrified) it takes to maintain favor.

My ranger for example went through 6 gods when i restarted him with 35 AAs at lvl 70, and i never used any miracle/blessing at all.

And on Shalla i only used 3-4 time a blessing and that was mostly an error when i just wanted to recast my pet

I have a question with regards to the effects on the deity cloaks. When the effect proc refers to the target of an attack or spell, does it mean everyone who gets hit by the spell (ie aoe spells), or only the actively targeted mob?

I've done Inny, Zek, and now Bertox also with my SK. I'm wearing the Zek cloak still, as it has the most use for me.

Has aonyone figured out what the Bertox cloak actually does? I've never seen it do anything on my SK or on my warlock.
