Just an opinion from all of you guys. Sorry if this forum is not the best for this topic but what do you think. EQ2players.com worth the extra cash?

I seem to be getting access for free, at least for now, and tried to make use of the signature part of it...thing...stuff.Personally? Far less than satisfied with its performance. As a simple example, my character hasn't been level 24 since last week...gear rarely, and on one character never, updates...*shrugs* Perhaps as a primarily solo quester for game style I'm not the kind of person that the feature was intended to cater to, either...

If you are a guild leader or officer, or interested in the rankings at all, then yes. Otherwise, it depends on the person currently.

Currently, no.

Once they fix the site and the updates become constistent instead of sporadic, it might be worth it. But for most, the advanced features have limited use.

Current public opinon indicates that they do not.

I know Hellswrath is one of several folks here in the community (which is one of my pet peeves, why is it the customers that are debugging and supporting the game they're paying to play) who have volunteered effort to try and bring these issues forward to get them noticed and resolved. Obviously, there's been extremely variable success with that, and how long something stays fixed or whether it's been fixed in all cases, rather than just one specific case... well...

I'd suggest the OP read through this forum a bit before making a purchasing decision, as there are manny reports posted that you might want to read. Objectively, the feature set has some appeal; however, I believe the implementation does not.

No its not worth it for the advanced features. The New Improved Design has never worked, they update features and add even more broken stuff without fixing most of what they broke the time before. Its pretty much an ongoing process that never seems to end.You may get lucky and once a week, sometimes a month everything will work as intended for a day or two. If thats worth the extra money then its a great deal, I only pay for extra toon slots, to me its worth it for that reason.

Atm I'd say, not worth more than the 99 cents I already pay. No updates for over a week now. A suggestion is to wait (no one will give you an ETA on that) until at least the stuff updates regularly again, since you won't get a refund.

Atm the system only updates equipment worn, levels, aa's, status etc all haven't be updated on my characters for over a week now. 24hr turnaround is perfectly acceptable but 7 days? Craptastic.

The EQ2players "features" should be free anyways. They should be a marketing point to draw people in. Not something to make extra cash on.My characters have not updated since Thanksgiving.

Definitely not worth it at the moment. They don't update the information. Maybe if they actually start doing that again it would be worth it. Right now its just frustrating to see weeks old data.

Items crafted, Quests and NPC Kills are also WAY off. They are probably current as of November 23rd, I would guess. So the signatures are WAY out of date. Now on my EQ2player.com profile, it shows last played on November 23rd. Well, I played last night as well as almost every night SINCE the 23rd. My level and tradeskill level are the same as in my signature, which as previously stated, is wrong. The only thing that is up to date is my equipment.

I believe it depends what server you are on. On AB my all but one of my characters have not updated since Nov 16th and a character I made on LDL on Dec.2nd has not shown up.As to the guild leader who uses it to find "spies" you must feel really paranoid now don't ya?No guild with that amount of paranoia is worth joining. Trust must be earned and that goes both ways. J.C.

Ask them to log into eq2players.2. On the left-hand menu they should click 'Characters' under the 'Station Players' header.3. This will open up several more options, select 'Edit Preferences'.4. They should select the character in question from the drop-down list that appears in the right-hand panel.5. Tick the box next to 'Leaderboards*' and click 'Submit'Note that at the bottom of the page the * is described as follows:* If set Private, this will replace your character's name with "Anonymous" on the Leaderboards (A change to Leaderboard Permissions can take up to 24 hours to take effect)

As EQ2players currently is, No... I can't recommend paying for it at this time.
