Guys I am trying to get my characters in line with lore and deity quest. I had a Barbarian Paladin that was with Mithaniel Marr. But I betrayed him and now he is a evil Shadow Knight. So I will be getting rid of MR Marr for my deity, but can I have the Tribunal?

Also I have my other toons that will be doing their deity quest. So I would like to know if the race/lore/deity works? All characters are citizens of Gorowyn.

Barbarian - Shadow Knight - Tribunal or Bertoxxulous

Half-Elf - Necromancer - Bertoxxulous

Erudite - Corercer - ??

Kerra - Defiler- Karana?

Iksar - Assassin - Cazic Thule

Human (Evil) - Fury - Karana

Sarnak - Guardian - ???

a barb SK would probably not be the Tribunal. the tribunal are about even handed justice, not really the SK way. and SK barb going from Mith Marr I would think would pick his chief rival, Innoruuk.necro = bertox.a defiler doesn't seem a karana follower to me. to be honest, from a lore standpoint, I'd put him with the Tribunal (using condemned souls/spirits) or Bertox.Iksar are devout Cazic worshipers, yes.a fury works with Karana, reguardless of city.the sarnak...they don't really have a diety lorewise. but I'd probably go with Mith Marr, Rallos or the Tribunal on a guard.with the coercer, I'd probably go Ro. coercers, and Erudites, are mostly obsessed with power adn magical energy/devices. adn that's Ro's area of influence.

Karana is a good-only diety. If all your chars are in Gorowyn, he won't have them as his followers.Depending on the reasons for betrayal, I think a barbarian SK serving the Tribunal could work - justice also means punishment after all. Still, Bertie is a standard for both Shadowknights and Necromancers.Sarnak, as stated, don't have a god traditional to them. But then, the new breed of Sarnak are less than a century old and still figuring out where they came from, so that's to be expected. I suspect they'd avoid Cazic simply because their prececessors (D'Zok sarnak) were enslaved by the iksar for so long. From what I've seen of them so far, I suspect the Tribunal would appeal overall, but almost anyone could work from an individual perspective.Erudite Coercer would be Sol Ro or Cazic, I think. The Erudite heretics in Paineel worshipped Cazic in EQ1.Kerra don't have much in the way of traditional gods either, I think. The actual Kerra were close to the land from what I remember, and the Vah Shir were agnostic. Rallos and Cazic would probably be bad choices, Rallos because his people go around destroying the land, and Cazic because the Kerra and the Erudites were constantly at odds, and who's going to worship the god of the group that wants to use you as a slave and lab rat?Humans have always worshipped anyone they wanted. Furies typically are good with Karana or Tunare, but as both of them are good gods, I doubt they'll take you. Avoid Rallos, since most of his people seem to be intent on destroying nature, not defending it. Bertie and Karana hate each other, so I doubt a fury would go that way, but the argument could be made that since diseases are a part of nature, your fury is using this "dark side" of natural forces to do his thing.Good luck!

Just thought I would correct that Karana is actually a neutral diety. My Sarnak has no trouble following him and I hail from Gorowyn.

That said, it's been 500 years, and you even without that, you can have a reason he follows such an evil god, such as disgust with his traditional gods for letting his people down when they needed them most.

Half-Elf - Necromancer - Bertoxxulous Half elves and humans, as mentioned, can worship pretty much anything.

Erudite - Corercer - ?? As has been stated, High Men from Paineel were devout Cazacites, and if your Heretic has remained true to his heritage, then he would be, too.

Kerra - Defiler- Karana? As mentioned, traditionally, kerra did not worship a deity. They worshipped the spirits around them. I could see a kerra worshipping Karana, thinking him more the spirit of the storms.

Iksar - Assassin - Cazic Thule Of course

Human (Evil) - Fury - Karana As has been said, humans used to worship almost everyone (oddly enough, Cazic-Thule was one of the frew gods they could not worship..possibly the only god, and there was no real reason for it)

Sarnak - Guardian - ??? There's a discussion on this within the lore forums. If you want to make the argument, the Sarnak of Gorowyn wouldn't exist if it weren't for Cazic-Thule, not only because it was the iksar who first created the Sarnak, but it was the material Cazic intended for the iksar that was used to created the Gorowyn Sarnak by the Di`Zok Sarnak. That said, the Gorowyn don't seem similar to other Cazacites. I could imagine they'd worship any god that represented their ideals. This could be the Tribunal, Rallos Zek, Mithaniel Marr, or Cazic-Thule, depending on who you ask, or the individual Sarnak.

That'll teach me to go by press releases. Glad to see there's a decent healer-god willing to deal with the baddies. Though for RP/historic, I still think he'd be a good god.

Imo the Tribunal is a very interessting and/but difficult deity for roleplay purpose, especiallly for an character which tends more to the evil side.

I wouldn't stick them to barbarians only in eq2 anymore, i wonderd why it was this way in eq1 anway.. sure they like justice, truth and so on but i would guess it's very hard to decicde with out emotions/barbaric mind for them.

most consider Karana a good god becuase his only known enemy is Bertox, an obviously evil god, and many of his allies are good. Tunare, Mith Marr, Quellious, ect. however they probably made him neutral because the other healer god, Tunare, is good only, and Karana is certainly not evil.

well with the absence of Prexus, I'd say the next best choice is Mith Marr for the Erudite.a kerran templar...hmm. that's a tough one. but I'd probably go Tunare. the kerrans are very in tune to nature and natural spirits...so Tunare makes a perfectly logical connection.a troll illusionist. woo boy...well, the last time we saw trolls that showed the kind of brains to be an illusionist, it was in the LoY expansion...and those trolls had become Inny followers. so I'd probably go with Inny for the troll. but blast, he's an illusionist, so can't do that. out fo the gods he can pick..the only one I can see that would even bother with him that he can choose is Sol Ro...or remain agnostic and see if someone else shows up.

Remember the Gunthak Trolls follow him.
