Will Possession EVER be fixed!?

<p>Are they ever going to? I have used it very few times, but decided to use it a few more lately, desperate to find some use for it, before giving up. Its probably the most useless spell in EQ2. Have they made any word that they are at least looking into it?</p><p>- There are so few mobs you can possess its pointless</p><p>- The time with which you can posssess a mob, providing you can actually find one to possess, is so short the spell serves no use other then to waste time. And this is with a Master. I totally regret wasting money on it. </p><p>- All of the mobs you seem to be able to posssess are lame as hell. Heavean forbid you can possess a mob that might have useful abilities. </p><p>PLEASE SOE fix this horrid spell at the very least!</p>

<p>I used to think the same as you, and I only kept iÅossesion at hotbar because I had a spare slot. But yesterday in Kylong Plains I actually understood what its good for. There are tons of good pet mobs in Kylong. But which one is the best? I'll go Possess it, look at its spells/buffs/CAs, then leave it nonaggro. Off to the next one until I find one that I want to keep.</p><p>Previously I used to charm a pet, look at the yellow numers it churned out, then decide if it was a good pet. Now I have more specific information. I love it.</p><p>(Maybe everyone else already knew this, but I was really happy about this when I discovered it last night /blush)</p><p>(Edit: I Possessed one that had Sanctuary. Imagine popping Sanctuary on your group just before a pvp fight...then move the mob out of agro range and go back to yourself and your drachnid enthraller...mmm..)</p>

I found some use with it, albeit not what was intended. It was useful for moving see invis mobs out of the way if i couldn't get past them. Beyond that, yes it is totally useless. I never really thought about checking out spells for potential charmees. That's a good ideaEDIT: I also killed a botter I saw in the ferrott while going to fear one day, that maybe wasn't useful, but it sure was fun.

Just make sure that you don't charm the same mob you possessed, as its skills get nerfed when it gets possessed.(Unless they fixed it, doubtful)
