Hello, I'm a level 46 paladin with 39 AAs. I'm looking for some suggestions on respecing my crusader tree AA's to what is best for tanking. Any suggestions? Thanks.

First , get more aa points by camping out steamfont mountains, you are a perfect level to attack the content fully in SFont. THere are a ton of fun, and exp quests in there, you can get your l & l for clockwork, I started when i was 49, and im 51 and i have 4 aa points from there alone, and i have a lot to go. So you have to decide which is more important, if you are soloing.. this is my suggestion... TO tank solo and pick up groups, go with agility 4,4,8, then put 4,4,8 in stamina, you now have 7 points left, put them in 4,4,8 in int line, as you get your aa points now? you will be very happy with the results of your crits from teh int line, and you will find that completing your 50 pts in crusader tree is not only a major milestone in eq2 career, but very rewarding to hit that as you hit 50 range with equal points. This really worked for me, and i have no special gear except master crafted ebon... so good luck. as you get your next few points, if you are continuing your soloing, i was told to put 3 points in hero line, on paladin tree, i have 2, and my heals are great, I am soloing whites much easier, i only lose half of my health bar against whites right now, so I would go this route, time tested and most commonly used, it works. good luck and have fun.

one change to the note above.

If you are solely a tank, then I'd be sure I got my points into my Hero line ASAP. The bonus to block will really make your job of staying alive much easier.

Then get your INT 4/4/8 (damage), STA 4/4/8 (melee crits).

Then move to your wraith line and get smite evil. This is the best thing you can do, that ability just flat out rocks, I use it tanking, off tanking, dpsing and soloing. Nothing like hitting mobs for 2k+

Then come back and fill out your AGI line 4/4/8. Trample is a Kick A... ability pre-RoK, but its usefullness looks to be seriously diminished by the lack of group encounters and may be phased out of the paladin books as a useful line (for now)

If looking to tank for groups, I would go stam 4 4 8 6 2, first thing. After that its really preference, I personally would wait on the hero line in the eof tree because at your level it doesnt make that big of a difference. End hero line only makes a real noticable difference once you get into shields with over 1k protection. After stamina line is finished I would either go down your int tree and get spell crits, and possibly some heal crits depending on your usual group makeup. Next I would start wraths in the eof tree, then do hero line last when it starts to really make a difference.

If looking to solo mostly, go stam 4 4 8, int 4 4 8, and then either str for mostly single mobs, or if you like to take several multiple mobs go 4 4 8 agility, eof tree wratsh, then hero or possibly a little bit of the healing line to max out your ward.
