Hi

I'm a new Warden level 29. Yesterday I went on my first real grouping.

I really love the Warden, but I do have a few questions.

Don't we get a direct heal? no ward or anything - I just want a heal, 1 sec cast, that heals a lot ? (I know we have one, but thats 5 min recast)

When I cast my wolf speed buff on others, than myself, do it then work on 2 people? could it work on all grp members, if I just recast it on all, one at a time?

Do I ever get a AE dmg spell?

Do I get more dmg spells, than I have now. I have a fire spell, and 2 dmg over time spells, 2 cold ones If I remeber correct.

Regards

Kakis

We don't get any direct heals that heal a lot besides the 2 emergency heals. And they are just that, emergency heals. One single target, one group, both on a 15 minute timer. Learn to work the other heals. Don't wait 'till the last moment to cast them, forget about the damage for a sec and perform the healing duties they picked you up for :pA bit later in the game you get a heat/cold damage ward that's also a resist buff. But again, it's on a hefty timer, once per fight kind of deal. The Spirit of the Wolf, you can cast that on as many people you like. All your group members, passers by, you see a player character, you can cast it on them and they'll be happy for 45 minutes. There's no concentration slot used when you do. I'm amazed nobody has asked you for a SOW yet. I get that all the time. You don't get an AE damage spell, but you do get an encounter nuke. That one hits all targets in the encounter for quite a bit of damage. Should you go melee with your warden (check the abilities in the Warden sub-tree), you get an AE attack.

Your heals are small with a direct component and a heal over time component - each individual one doesn't do the big heal you want, but they all 'stack', meaning if you play them right, you can be putting out a nice chunk of healing and STILL have your timers available when other healers' are refreshing.SoW is as you see it. Individual cast - always has been, prolly always will be . So best thing is to cast it on yourself, then your group. That way you can see when the buff is winding down and when a recast will be called for - so you can be ahead of it running out (no pun intended).
